As Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass oversees the number of rebuilding permits awarded to transgender people and drag performers, other, less critical decisions are falling through the cracks.
Rats. Los Angeles has a rat problem. Not a rat problem like all big cities. Los Angeles rats are of a particular variety.
In addition to some of them being the size of cats and chewing on everything in sight, the rats are literally flea-bitten. And the fleas that chew on the rats carry the medieval disease typhus.
It's just a hop, skip, and a jump from a rat for the typhus-bearing fleas to land on a human in the densely populated city of Los Angeles. And that's where Los Angeles has a medieval problem.
Fleas become infected when they feed on the blood of carrier animals. In urban settings, the primary reservoirs are rats, opossums, and stray cats. Once a flea contracts the bacteria, it carries it for the rest of its life. Unlike many vector-borne diseases, in which the disease is injected directly through saliva during a bite, typhus is primarily transmitted through flea feces, commonly known as "flea dirt."
Flea-borne typhus does not spread directly from person to person. But when you have four million people living in close quarters and the little rascals; it's nothing for a flea to leap from human to human, infecting them with the Rickettsia typhi bacteria.
"Since 2009, the number of flea-borne typhus cases in L.A. has increased by a staggering 2,300 percent," write Christopher Rufo and Ryan Thorpe in City Journal. "Last year, the county recorded more cases than at any point in its history."

And yet they voted for her again. They could’ve had something different. I have no sympathy.
Election year diseases. Can anything stop them?
It does have third world mayor trying her best to be medieval ,LOL
In 2020, Newsom signed A.B. 1788 into law. The bill sharply restricted the use of potent anticoagulant rat poisons in hopes of protecting “mountain lions and other wildlife.” Four years later, Newsom signed A.B. 2552, further expanding those restrictions.
With any luck, LA will slide into the ocean.
You are assuming California and Angelinos have perfectly fair, standardized, and impartial elections.
I used to think "these fools voted for this." and Indeed there are a lot of braindead libs in SoCal and the Bay Area
BUT - so much manipulation and nonsense has been built into California's electoral process over the last 35 years - from automatic voter registration at the DMV, to ballot harvesting, to mass mail-in ballots, to walk-up voting, to purposely unclean voter rolls - we can say its elections are not valid.
They've learned that one doesn't need to win elections North Korea or Saddam Hussein style. 51% of the vote, over time, will also create a one party political monopoly.
Is it worth the trouble of retaking it, or would quarantining it be enough?
I wouldn’t want to be there when the next big earthquake hits. All those low life’s will have free reign to do whatever they want as the cops will be too busy. Think New Orleans and Katrina.
Black Plague is imminent but the weather is nice
“And yet they voted for her again.”
Keep in mind that California and LA are two of the national hotspots of voter fraud. Watching the results of the recent LA mayoral “jungle” primary come in, it was obvious. Spencer Pratt (the sole republican) was leading well into the counting and the third-place person (democrat, forget name) issued a concession speech. Three days later, “found” ballots put that third-place person into second, so the run-off election was between two democrats. It was so obvious what was going on, and the FEC/FBI/DOJ did nothing.
Matthew 24:7 NLT
[7] Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.
Luke 21:11 NLT
[11] There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.
Sound familiar?
Add this to my list of symptoms of the Thirdworldism problems in this once great nation. SMH
Does that mean we can go Medieval on the invaders?
Typhus, borne by fleas and lice, is a truly horrific disease. During the 30 Years War it killed whole armies. Add to that the fact that it probably killed about two thirds of the army Napoleon took into Russia 1812, and Trump and his new AG Todd Blanche would be fully justified in declaring a public health emergency in LA and using the full power of the federal government to clean it up regardless of what the communists want.
“ Black Plague is imminent but the weather is nice”
Plague is endemic to the Southwest. All we need is a mutation or a Chicom gain-of-function experiment, and pneumonic plague will run like a wildfire there.
“Going medieval” will be a reality then, particularly since we already don’t make enough antibiotics here. However, as Ron Emmanuel said, “ You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” It might give the adults a chance to take over the government there.
Some of its advocates think it's something new that they have discovered.
Some want to use it as a tool to overthrow the established order and replace it with themselves, replace its power with their own power.
Some are intellectually and morally confused useful idiots.
But woke is an attack on Western Civilization.
It's obvious.
Even such obvious realities as public health policies, the sexual basis of human reproduction, and many more fundamentals of civilization are attacked by woke nonsense, and confused idiots accept it.
For cryin' out loud, these people consider defecation of public sidewalks perfectly acceptable and believe that, if a man claims to have become a woman, he has.
If, God forbid, woke advocates should succeed in destroying Western Civilization, it will not return the world merely to Third World status. It will return it to the Dark Ages, with all the horrors thereof.
It took roughly 2,000 years after the fall of the Roman Empire for world civilization to return to its level, e.g. for public housing to be supplied with water, for general literacy and sanitation to return.
We are never going to fix anything anymore with elections. The system is corrupted. In some places worse than others.
Luke 21:11 NLT [11] There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.
