Questions remain in western Pennsylvania after two young children were found inside a home with the bodies of two adults.

The discovery was made Monday afternoon in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County. Advertisement

Police believe the 42-year-old and 31-year-old died on Friday.

The two little girls, ages one and three, were checked out at a local hospital and then released to Allegheny County's Office of Children, Youth and Families.

Police say there were no signs of trauma on the adults.

The county medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Sounds like the adults died of overdose. That's my guess. The adults have been dead since Friday. The poor childrent were alone since that time.

Nothing accidental about drug overdoses, if that is what it was.

The good news is that they are young enough to forget this, if they are put into a good home.

Thank goodness the two toddlers were discovered by someone who was not a danger to them. That person’s identity is unknown, at least to the public.

I’m guessing a gun in the house mthat went mental and stalked them down and shot them... gun violence and all that. But yeah, likely drugs. That fentanyl is no joke- so stinking deadly it can be. Have had it several times in hospital, but of course it’s pure there, no added crap- asked a nurse once about it as i was a bit nervous about takin it, said it was a lot safer than street drug.

I heard a news story where they said the fentanyl itself is the dangerous stuff. It is the random dose that you get on the street that can kill you. In the hospital you know you are getting .02 grams (or whatever).

The news guy was saying it is worse now because there is such a demand for street fentanyl the makers are rushing the process. They have a bunch of filler in a bucket, add the fentanyl, stir it up and then make pills. But they are in such a rush now that “quality control” has gone down. Instead of thoroughly mixing the bucket they give it a few stirs and move on. So one pill might have a .001 gram dose, and another might have 2 grams. Sounds reasonable. Although yeah - certain folks might add other drugs to it.

The brain and subconscious can retain a lot even from very early childhood. Prayers for the children.

Obviously I cant say everybody, because the Unabomber’s personality changed when he spent a week in a hospital when he was 18 months and never seemed to get over it.

We are also living in a time when a good hime is the LGBQ+ and bad homes are solid Christian families, so we got that.

But, if these children end up in a solid Christian good home, I think they will be fine.
