US military has used up nearly 80% of key missile interceptors as commanders warn stockpiles ‘dangerously low,’ sources say

The US military has exhausted nearly 80% of its interceptors for a key missile defense system as senior US military commanders are warning that the Pentagon’s munitions stockpile is “dangerously low,” according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

Stockpiles of key air defense systems have been particularly depleted during the war with Iran. The US military has burned through nearly four-fifths of its THAAD missile inventory compared to pre-war numbers and roughly half of its Patriot interceptors since the start of the war, according to two sources familiar with the latest inventory report. The disclosure of the low THAAD inventory has not been previously reported.

The stockpile issue was raised again prior to the president’s decision last weekend to cancel new strikes on Iran, marking at least the second time in recent weeks that Trump’s senior military advisers have specifically voiced concerns about the dwindling number of key US munitions during discussions about potentially escalating the conflict with Iran.

Uh huh.

The same leftist press will report Iran is still churning out ballistic missles and drones.

Uh huh.

China and Russia are churning them out and resupplying them and then flying them in.

There is nothing more that CNN wants than to save its buddies in Iran, so anything they post without specific references is to be taken with a grain of salt.

I highly doubt their claims and numbers, even though we've already consumed a lot of munitions.

CNN and the rest of the lying legacy media has an agenda and narratives and neither are Pro-American. Consider this reality.

Thanks to CNN, the Iranians will know we’re out of ammo.
They’ll be invading us any day now.

They write the same “we are running out of bullets” BS every “war”.

Then during peace time they’ll run BS about us stockpiling millions of bullets.

You can’t hate the fake media enough.

I dunno. I’m not sure if Russia is exporting much in the way of munitions these days. Sincerely.

Though they are cooperating with Iran on drone production.

China, on the other hand, is no doubt sending Iran missiles, equipment, and components. Probably lots (in exchange for oil).

(speaking of nasty allies, I wonder what ever happened to those Russia-North Korea military agreements? Are there any norks left in Ukraine?)

100 percent NOT TRUE. Bret Baier explained things on Fox News a few minutes ago, they have plenty of stockpile that can be used against Iran..the problem is, they are monitoring China and how they want to take Taiwan so they are concerned that next yr, if China decides OK its go time, we wont have enough weapons to protect Taiwan from an attack

Russia is importing every weapon it can buy, even Iranian drones.

Heck, they’re having to import gasoline.

I doubt they’re shipping anything to Iran.

Yep..my understanding is the US is asking Ukraine for weapons support in the fight against Iran. The EU has promised emotional support on an unprecedented level and Trump has asked Zi specifically for weapons support.

In 1941, 3000 cars were produced. There were 139 produced during the remainder of the war. Factories were converted to wartime products. I’m sure we’re doing double time. Shhhh don’t tell the media.

Yes, they are there and Ukraine is intelligence speculation that a couple of more divisions worth are on their way soon, the number used is that it could be about 30,000.
