Lol! I can see some of today’s parents of small children using that possibility as a veiled threat for naughty children who don’t straighten their rooms up or others who keep on telling lies.
Life is ironic.
There are so many people that would love to have a baby.
We’re old, empty nesters, not rich, yet even my wife and I would love a baby! It’s not totally uncommon to see two gray haired folks with a baby today.

I live in Dallas, we have a fire station we walk by that has a baby box and has for at least 5 years.

In all probability, those are grandparents or great grandparents.
I try not to judge, but I could never imagine a scenario in my life where I’d have given up my kids. Of course, I had my kids after I was married, but I still can’t imagine giving up a child. God bless the person who does, and I hope the baby finds a loving, stable home.
