Trump climbs down on Iran strikes after Saudi alarm and threats from Tehran

Donald Trump said on Saturday night that the US would hold off on any new strikes on Iran provided a deal to end the months-long conflict is quickly reached – marking the president’s latest climbdown from extravagant threats to hit the Tehran regime hard.

The Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman called Trump on Saturday to express concerns about his strike plans, it was reported. Trump’s reversal also came after Iran threatened to retaliate decisively against its neighbours in the event of US strikes, while Kuwait reported being hit by Iranian drones on Saturday and two ships were attacked off Oman in the strait of Hormuz.

The Associated Press also reported the conversation, citing its own source. It said the Saudis were concerned that if the US targets Iran’s energy infrastructure or carries out massive strikes on other key infrastructure, Tehran could respond by carrying out similar attacks on the kingdom and other Gulf countries.

Iran is a proxy army and a proxy nation for the global crime syndicate based in the City of London and a few other known locations.

It’s not just the United States against the IRGC. The bankers are pulling the strings of the IRGC.

And another complicating factor is that Trump is also negotiating with the Iranian patriot community—the rightful leaders of the true Iran whose hands are still tied by the cowards in the IRGC and their puppet masters.

The regime in Iran was installed 47 years ago by intelligence agencies working for the globalists. The mullahs were allowed to take the country from its true and rightful leaders.

Since then, the globalists have used Iran to perpetrate terrorism and to control oil prices.

Part of the dilemma Trump faces is he has to defeat the mullahs in Iran while leaving enough of the country intact for its rightful leaders to reclaim their authority after the mullahs are gone.

So the Saudi’s are afraid. Now Iran has more leverage. No deal will be forthcoming.

Trump should have learned from LBJ. He's got a tar baby now, I think.

I wonder who can’t see by now that it is IRAN dictating the terms and actions, not the USA.
The USA is in a trap of its own doing.

It’s not just the United States against the IRGC. The bankers are pulling the strings of the IRGC.

Given the scope of economic sanctions on Iran, what 'bankers' are pulling the strings of the IRGC?

Can you name the banks involved?

What was 'true and rightful' about the regime installed by the CIA 73 years ago?

Sounds like fake news to me. I would focus on looking at what has changed within the last few weeks. The commitment from the Saudi coalition to defend the Red Sea and the US backing off the Patriot missiles with Ukraine.. And the recent damage by US air strikes.

There, fixed it for you

Problem is the pauses allow Iran to re-arm thanks to Russia and China so we're using up our defensive missiles everytime we go back and begin disarming them with the newly obtained weapons. Our stockpile goes down, Iran's goes up because of the breathers we keep giving them. Better to take the first exit ramp we see than to fight like that.

Iran had around 4000 ballistic missiles at the start of this war , most of which were housed in a network of underground tunnels and bunkers

This is a massive investment of time and assets for Iran and the world stood by and did nothing while Iran built a massive network of increasingly capable and sophisticated ballistic missiles, a nuclear weapons program to build nuclear warheads for the missiles and massive u underground facilities to house the missiles and the nuclear weapons program

Iwhen Trump took office , Iran was on the brink of demonstrating a nuclear weapon, had developed sophisticated long range ballistic missiles capable of hitting Europe and was just about ready to produce an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting the us.

The Obama administration even facilitated and funded irans weapons programs

Finally, we have a President who is wiling to confront these fanatic zealots and he has largely destroyed Irans capacity to make war and in the process of destroying the IRGC machine for suppressing internal dissent

President Trump finally confronts the fanatical zealots, succeeds beyond anyone’s wildest dreams and gets criticized because it’s taking time to dislodge the fanatical zealots well, because they are fanatical zealots who refuse to surrender under any circumstances

People seem to have very little imagination about what kind of chaos and destruction such fanatical zealots could inflict on the world with their new language range and intercontinental ballistic missile systems armed with nuclear weapons.

This is a curious lack of imagination given the fact that Iran and its proxy allies have been attacking the entire Middle East with WWIII style ballistic missiles raids for the last couple of years

The undeniable fact is that Iran had a remarkably sophisticated ballistic missile and drone program which irans leaders were more than willing to use and was on the brink of producing nuclear weapons to arm those missiles with

Everyone is whining about the highly limited but still very consequential damage Irans older generation missiles and drones are still capable of of delivering while completely ignoring the damage Iran would be able to to cause with its next generation of missiles and drones armed with nuclear warheads

President Trumps greatest achievement has already been largely accomplished because Irans military capabilities have been reduced to the point where Iran is no longer a serious threat and they will not have nuclear weapons
