Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton’s uphill battle to beat Democrat Xavier Becerra in liberal-leaning California is resonating in a key, populous Southern California county.
A new poll by the University of California, Irvine taken June 9 to 12 showed Orange County voters giving Hilton 47% of the vote share, above Becerra’s 44%. The same poll also showed that Hilton has more support among his base of Orange County Republicans, at 94%, compared to the 82% of Democrats supporting Becerra there.
“We have moved ahead of Becerra in California’s 3rd largest county,” Hilton said Saturday regarding the poll. “Millions of Californians are saying: Enough Is Enough! Let’s Fix California!”

LA Co already has a few million, signed, stamped and boxed and banked to insert over several weeks as needed after the election.
Pffft... Does objective person really believe that there will ever be a free and fair election in the state of California?
A 20 point lead would not be enough. Hilton has no chance. Ca is not voting their way out of this even if they wanted to which they probably don’t.

Hilton could be leading 99 to 1 on election day and would still lose once the “counting” was done.
My son lives in Orange County and he’s never believed that Newsome survived the recall in the OC.
What really matters is in which county will the vote “counting” take place?
A Republican would have to infiltrate the Kalifornia Ballot Counting Industrial Complex.
Kalifornia is the epitome of: “It is not who votes that counts. What matters is who COUNTS the votes.”
I am afraid you are right; and that is not good because the California contagion has and will continue to infect the entire nation.
The sane parts of the country have to figure out a way to quarantine the damage.
