Ukraine has succeeded in every combat domain except for ballistic missiles, which remain a critical gap in Kyiv’s arsenal against Russia, the Ukrainian envoy to the U.S. said Thursday.
The ambassador, Olga Stefanishyna, noted that President Trump gave Ukraine the green light to manufacture its own interceptors for the Patriot missile system.
That timeline could range from 12 months to five years before a domestic Patriot missile could be deployed, and she said that means trouble.
“This winter we need missiles,” Ms. Stefanishyna said. “So many people will die over the winter” without them.

I’m trying to figure out why they are giving the Ukraine credit for what the Euros accomplished.
Right...their Air Force is beyond phenominel.
Absolutely not.
Russia, China, Iran and Norklandia all have manufactured thousands and thousands of $200k missiles. Tens of thousands even.
Because they knew we could not make enough $4mil Patriots and $6mil THAADs to shoot them down.
Our emphasis on defense and intolerance for casualties will doom the republic.
The United States is facing a severe shortage of Patriot air defense interceptors, which have been heavily depleted during the conflict with Iran. Independent estimates indicate that the U.S. stockpile has plummeted by roughly 65%.
As already said:
AI (Google):
Key Takeaways: Trump Administration & U.S. Munitions Stockpile Concerns
1. Internal Warnings Over Escalation and Munitions Depletion
High-Level Concerns: Vice President J.D. Vance and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine raised explicit concerns to President Donald Trump during White House deliberations regarding the ongoing military campaign in Iran.
Specific Warning on Stockpiles: Gen. Caine specifically warned President Trump that continuing or escalating nightly airstrikes against Iranian targets risked further depleting key U.S. munitions stockpiles—leaving the military vulnerable in potential near-peer conflicts (e.g., in the Indo-Pacific region).
Operational Pause: Following these internal briefings, the U.S. paused nightly bombing raids on Iranian targets after roughly two weeks of continuous strikes, though administration officials reiterated that all military options remain on the table.
2. Extent of Munitions Depletion
According to Pentagon assessments and research by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) cited in CNN’s reporting:
Interceptor & Strike Missiles: The U.S. military has expended significant portions of its critical defensive and offensive missile inventories:
~50% of Patriot air defense interceptor missiles.
~50% of THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) interceptors.
~45% of precision-strike missiles.
~30% of Tomahawk cruise missiles.
Replenishment Timeline: Defense analysts and military experts note that standoff precision weapons like Tomahawk missiles could take one to six years to fully replenish to pre-war inventory levels, given defense supply chain constraints.
They want missles. We need neutrality and friendlier Russia that would result from it.
The only thing Ukraine needs is to make peace - as they should have done before the operation started.
Stopped reading right there....
We need those Patriots in the Gulf.
It’s a lot easier to hide a Ukrainian drone assembly building in a conifer forest than a US military base in a desert.
That woman.....
That woman.....
The coup in 2014 was Russia invading and occupying Crimea.
What the U.S. (under Nuland and the CIA) were doing is trying to undermine the puppets that Putin had planted in the Ukraine government.
The U.S. does the same kind of undermining all over the world, but mostly for the good of the government involved adn the interests of the U.S.
Are you aware that we’re doing the same thing again, over in Iran and other places.
We might actually be doing the same in China and N.Korea dn Russia itself. Guess we should ming our own business and retreat from the world and become isolationists; that always worked out so well for us. We had no business getting involved in Europe with WW1 and WW2. We’d all be better off speaking German and Japanese and Italian.
The United States should have never floated the idea of Ukraine joining NATO.

Cheaper than a Patriot, even in artillery shell size!
