Howdy, luvie.
It wasn’t quite as hot as yesterday but it go close. Started out nice because it was cloudy, but the sun broke out around noon and ugh. At least it was breezy.
Not as hot here as it was there, thank goodness!

No, it was no piece of cake here, unless you’re talking about a cake of explosives. LOL! I only got out to feed the kitties and go to bible class, but ugh!
Glad you had clouds for part of the day, but it’s a darn shame they couldn’t have at least hung around till you got home! The breeze doesn’t help much inside the tent, I wouldn’t imagine.

Ahhh, those 80s sound heavenly. By that response, you can guess that we’re hovering in the very high 90s and into the low 100s for the past month or so.
Just a real joy living in the desert. LOL! I’m very ready for October to get here. It’s a long way off.

It has been hot and humid.
Not fun.

To: luvie
We aren’t inside a tent. We’re underneath it, in shade. The breeze blows through. It’s like they use at craft fairs - you can hang panels on the sides if you want walls, but we don’t.
Can’t blame ya at all for not going out any more than necessary. Not with the temps you have.

Yes, you’re more humid than we are, which makes all this heat even worse.
I hope you have plenty of chances to cool off.

Well, that makes sense. I had visions of y’all being inside an actual tent, and that just seemed like torture. Bad enough just being outside.

I’ve sent pics of our tent to you before. I guess you forgot what it looks like. The one we use for early voting is 10’ X 10’. The one we use at the weekend festival in Sept. is 10’ x 20’. It stinks that it won’t be visible on the Cowan cam. That small log cabin will block the view.
But you’ll still have more to look at that weekend besides trains going by occasionally. The whole area in view of the cam will be full of vendors’ tents and people milling around. And fireworks both nights!
