Saudi Arabia and Houthis exchange fire as US attacks tanker in Hormuz Strait

Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes on Houthi targets in the Yemeni port city of Hodeida and a nearby island on Friday, after the Iran-backed group announced a maritime blockade and attacked Saudi ships.

Saudi authorities later issued emergency alerts for the province of Jizan as the Houthis claimed responsibility for a missile attack on the city of Jizan.

Early on Saturday, the Houthis' Ansarollah media said on Telegram that a "Yemeni missile strike" had caused fires in the Saudi city of Jizan.

Footage from Jazan shows enormous fires continuing across the Saudi Aramco refinery and industrial complex following Yemeni missile strikes.

Several separate columns of dense black smoke can be seen rising from the facility, indicating fires across multiple sections of the complex.

The Jazan refinery has a processing capacity of approximately 400,000 barrels per day.

This looks like the perfect excuse for the Saudis’ to take out Iran’s refined products supply. (It virtually all goes to domestic use.)

If the Saudis had a clue, they could smother the Houthis AND Iran with Ukie style drones. SA has the money and they have, get this, over 23 million gamers in their population.
