Texas Congressman Brandon Gill is a rising superstar in the Republican Party.
You might have caught him dressing down the Smithsonian director with instant-classics like asking if politeness is a form of “white supremacy.”
Things that are “white supremacist,” according to the left:
Being polite.
Being on time.
Being objective.

Unlike a lot of other GOP politicians, however, Gill isn’t just going to toss a few scraps of red meat our way while ignoring it’s actually his job to solve problems.
Congress is not political theater and you guys are not ‘theater kids.’ We are all a bit fed up with Swamp creatures acting like it's Hollywood-for-the-Ugly.
That's why Gill is unveiling a ‘genius plan’ to put an end to birth tourism.
And part of the genius lies in the simplicity: Label birth tourists “foreign invaders.”
How is that, you say? A new bill called the Citizenship Act.
Republican Texas Rep. Brandon Gill is unveiling legislation to limit birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens during a declared “invasion,” according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller.
Gill’s bill, titled the “Citizenship Act,” would clarify that the children of illegal aliens who entered our country as part of an invasion are not entitled to birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment.
Gill told The Daily Caller:
“The Constitution was never intended to reward unlawful entry by automatically granting citizenship to the children of those who invaded our country. If we are serious about recognizing that our nation has been invaded, then our laws should reflect that reality. We should not extend one of the greatest privileges our nation can bestow—American citizenship—to the children of those who entered our country unlawfully as part of that invasion. I’m proud to introduce the Citizenship Act in the House to remedy our code of law.”
He also announced it on X:
I have officially introduced the "Citizenship Act" with @SenatorBanks, under which individuals who enter the United States illegally or for the purpose of birth tourism would be classified as “invaders" and therefore, would be excluded from birthright citizenship.

Senator Jim Banks (R-IN) is also co-sponsoring the Act:
1. Millions of illegal aliens and birth tourists invaded our country.
2. Children of invaders aren't eligible for birthright citizenship.
3. Congress determines who invaders are.

This was all brought about by the Supreme Court's disastrous ruling on birthright citizenship, by the way.
But here's a not-so-fun fact: America is in the minority of countries worldwide that act like an invader touching dirt makes you entitled to baby citizenship.

It's like a demented game of "red rover," and we have millions of anchor babies to show for it.
Now, you might have lost count of how many different kinds of foreign invasion we are experiencing in the United States.
We had the open borders invasion under the Biden administration, which may have led to over 10 million illegal immigrants coming into America. We have the disaster of H1-B visas abuse, which is essentially another avenue to “birth tourism” in America.
This isn’t to single out foreigners for abuse. But the numbers we are talking about make it impossible for these millions of people to be assimilated.

In that sense, this is a foreign invasion. And Brandon Gill and Jim Banks are finally calling out the issue for what it is.
We shall see how many of their colleagues want to assist this foreign invasion or who actually want to put a stop to it.

I’ve seen the congressman on Steve Bannon’s War Room a number of times.
Congressman Gill is impressive.
His speciality is forcing lefties to realize they are not talking to someone inside their own bubble. Once they understand they will have to defend their insane policies they become helpless fools. It is genius in it’s simplicity or he is such a natural he makes it look and sound easy.
My plan for identifying illegals at the DMV or hospitals or schools is if they can’t speak English well enough to communicate with authorities or they need a translator to do so, they aren’t citizens. Speaking, writing & reading English proficiently is a requirement to become a citizen.
I suspect given Barrett and Roberts, who support Democrats when it really matters, going forward the best thing that can be done is to limit the amount of welfare a child can bring in.
An anchor baby shouldn’t be able to support a family.
Welfare with respect to an eligible child could be limited to:
1. medical care for the child (Medicaid, KidsCare)
2. pre-natal and delivery care for its mother
3. WIC for mother during pregnancy and six months thereafter
4. WIC for the child for up to 12 months total, then SNAP for up a lifetime total of the IRS standard deduction amount ($16,100 in 2026)
5. Section 8 benefits only provided for the first and second eligible children in a household and capped at 10% of their state’s cheapest three-bedroom HUD fair market rent for the first and capped at 10% of their state’s cheapest two-bedroom HUD fair market rent for the second.
For an eligible adult, Section 8 benefits capped at 40% of the area’s one-bedroom HUD fair market rent and only provided for the first eligible adult in a household and 20% for the second.
Needy Section 8 recipients could tap into their own Social Security accounts and then their parents Social Security accounts, with Social Security reductions to be calculated and made over life expectancy of the parents and amounts owed to accrue interest at IRS rates.
How can a person be considered an “invader” if the person is granted a visa to come to the United States. It doesn’t make sense.
Also, why hasn’t war been declared against the countries doing the supposed invasion?
It seems to me that umdocumented immigrants are not using force to enter the country. They also do not occupy ground and have jurisdctional control. Our government still has full jurisdicton of the entire country.
It is a real shame that Gill woll be 36 days too young to be on the ticket as VP in 2028.
The guy is sharp, very sharp.
The beauty of this is that Kavanaugh laid out in his concurrence that this would be a constitutional way to get rid of birthright citizenship. ie that Congress can regulate it to not include the children of illegal aliens.
Unfortunately, Senator Kennedy has worked against passing the Save Act.
A pregnant illegal should get an expedited repatriation to her home country, not the various benefits you have proposed. We cannot be the maternity ward for the entire world.
Because its not countries doing it, its individuals. Invasion need not involve a specific country to do the invading.

It seems to me they are not "undocumented". They are ILLEGAL. Also, use of force to enter the country is not necessary for their entry to be both illegal and an invasion.

They do occupy ground by there presence here. They don't need to have jurisdictional control for their presence in this country to be ILLEGAL. Because our government has jurisdiction on our sovereign territory, they have passed immigration laws which make the presence of aliens in our country without our consent ILLEGAL.
Senator Kennedy is amusing to watch, interacts well with the media and in hearings, but often falls short on important policy issues.
The bill is a great idea and, at least, a start.
Birthright tourism, esp. from China needs to stop also.
Suspected birth place women should be aided in getting back to their home country.If they refuse in any way any offspring should not be US citizens.
