It was a bit rainy here and cooler, but darned if we’re not back to 102 this week.
To me, time seems to be flying by though, and hoping just a few more weeks of our Texas summer!

It wasn’t too awful today. “Only” got up to 93, but the rest of the week is going to be a roaring f🔥re. Not ready, and I’m sure the kitties aren’t.
I see that you were under a heat advisory today. I’m guessing the rest of the week will be, too. Not fun for sitting in an un-AC’d tent! I’m sure you’ll have all your cooling gear with you. LOL!

One of my brothers lives in Alamogordo, I think the Germans pulled out of there a few years ago.
Our weather was about the same last week - - some rain and the temps were cooler. Though our temp wasn’t over 100 today, the heat index sure was and it made for a long 6 hours at the tent outside the polling place for early voting. Tomorrow looks to be a repeat. Ugh.
In some ways, the time does seem to be flying by, doesn’t it?
