Just before dawn, the bridges began to fall.
One by one, American missiles reduced them to crumpled concrete, strewn across river beds and gorges.
For a week, the US had bombed southern cities, cranking up the pressure on Iran to relinquish control of the Strait of Hormuz.
But now the US military was going for the transport arteries connecting key southern ports to the rest of the country.

A Marine Expeditionary Unit is already in place and would have to be augmented by an Airborne Division of the US Army.

Iran admitted to IAEA they had over 200lbs of 60% HEU. IAEA now estimates they have over 900lbs.
That’s a two-three week problem for a 2nd year Engineering class.
There is no known civilian use for 60% HEU.

Seize the oil and sell it. Any excess, after paying for the war, can be kept in escrow for the Iranian people.
Crude is not the key to defeating Iran, and where it is not the key.
Refined oil products for internal consumption (including the military) are the key.
Cutting off Bandar Abbas of course has all sorts of logistical elements to it. It would also make a good, but not “too good” (big) “example”. That would lean slightly “Sherman-ish”, but only a little, and we could still airdrop food and water.

If we control the airport, bringing in food and water is easier in some respects, but, obviously our people are then more of a target.
Either way, I’d plaster a big image of Trump on every package and bottle.

It’s not our war! Iran declared war on the US in 1979 and has actively attacked US entities, killed Americans and developed a vicious terror organization aimed at killing Americans and defeating the US.
For world peace to occur, Iran must be defeated.
