Extraordinary address comes ahead of November midterm elections, with Republicans at risk of losing their majorities in Congress
WASHINGTON—President Trump delivered an extraordinary prime-time address in which he alleged that the U.S. election system had been compromised, ramping up his efforts to sow doubts about his 2020 election loss, raise skepticism about the coming midterms and pressure lawmakers into passing sweeping voter-ID legislation.
Speaking in the East Room on Thursday night, Trump said he was declassifying a trove of intelligence documents that he argued showed efforts by the Chinese government to interfere in or influence the 2020 U.S. election. He also said his administration found hundreds of thousands of noncitizens listed on state voting rolls.
“There is no Third World country that has elections like we have,” Trump said.
The president’s remarks came months before the November midterm elections in which Republicans are at risk of losing control of their majorities in Congress and as Democrats have warned that Trump would seek to undermine confidence in the nation’s election system.
During the 25-minute speech, Trump didn’t provide any evidence of voter fraud, prove that people had cast ballots in the U.S. who shouldn’t have or reveal that election outcomes had been altered because of interference.
Trump and his allies have lost dozens of court cases across multiple states challenging Joe Biden’s 2020 election win. State and federal judges dismissed the cases, often for being speculative or lacking evidence. Documented cases of voter fraud are extremely rare. A 2021 review by the Associated Press found fewer than 475 potential cases of voter fraud in the six battleground states in the 2020 election.
“America watched the ramblings of a mad king,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, said in a social-media post after the speech. “Before a single vote has been cast,...”

To think the WSJ used to be a decent paper. Just another example of our societal decline. Sigh.

These WSJ retards probably believe that RussiaGate is a real thing that Trump & co. did.
Most of the country is either corrupt
and complicit
The Wall Street Journal is as dead as Mamdani’s New York City.
But i'm sure Murdoch's PLA wife isn't happy about Trump calling out the ChiCom's out on hacking into our IT infrastructure.

Like so many progressives with TDS, joesucks has only one-third of a normal human brain. It’s so sad.
Most publications and TV outlets are complicit.
Luckily enough, if you don't look for proof, you don't find any.
Yes
there was proof of the steal online for just a short time on eletion night. In a dim counting room somewhere in georgia, a woman was brave enough to record on her phone a video of counting room leader telling them to throw out ballots from a few districts. I had time to check before it all disappeared: all republlican precincts.

There’s a fair amount of “ignorant” as well. Way too many.
“whadayamean effort to sow?’
D’ey’s already got folks thinking it’s been fixed!”
I’m one of them!
The Wall Street Journal is not, and has never been, an ally of conservatism.
They are, and have always been, Deep State.
Accept their reporting at your own risk.
Trump & the GOP in the House & the Senate are going to get clobbered in the November mid-terms unfortunately for America, but that just shows how divided we are and how influential the fake news media still is.
All the Urinal has anymore is Jedi mind tricks.
Unfortunately TRUE
