First Minister John Swinney has apologised to a Dundee girl who brandished weapons at a Bulgarian man who was later convicted of assaulting her
Ilia Belov, 22, was convicted last week of grabbing and pushing the girl and uttering sexual remarks to the girl and her friends last year.
Swinney said he would apologise to the girl, as he said his comments at the time of the incident were based on the information he had on the case at the time.
Police Scotland have now admitted that their initial statement "did not fully reflect the situation."
It was initially indicated that no-one apart from the girl had been arrested or was wanted in connection with the incident.
The girl's evidence in Belov's trial at Dundee Sheriff Court was described as "eloquent" by Sheriff Tim Niven-Smith.
Raising the issue at Questions, Reform UK leader in Scotland Malcolm Offord said: "The mother of this child, quite rightly, has demanded an apology from the police and from the first minister for her daughter being branded as a liar, right-wing and a racist."
Lord Offord told MSPs the girl had been arrested during the incident and was "widely vilified for wielding an axe and a knife" which she had used to "fend off a Bulgarian migrant and his sister".
Belov was found guilty of making sexual remarks to the group of girls aged between 12 and 14 before grabbing and pushing one of them to the ground.
His sister Nadjedzha Belova, 20, admitted assaulting a 13-year-old girl by seizing and pulling her hair, dragging her to the ground, and striking her on the head to her injury during the incident.
The court heard that Belov had said "hello sexy, I'll show you a good time" to the girls while walking past them.

I'm glad the girl is vindicated and the creep is under arrest
As I said last year, we should wait to know more facts before jumping to conclusions.
Well we now have the undisputable facts.
The Bulgarian was a creepy sex offender and deserved the axe.
The girl, her mother and sister should be celebrated. Time to bring this news back to the front pages

As I told you two, I would hold judgement until we knew more but that I would track this case.
I think, at least for myself, that it was obvious that any grown man that would harass a young girl was the one that was dangerous.
The video started abruptly and ended abruptly. Difficult to have drawn any conclusions without speculating, which is wrong when dealing with such a serious matter.
But now there can be no speculating, we have the facts.
Not all: like we don’t know about prior convictions of the perp.
And the Scottish police should release the recordings from before the incident.
We KNOW the girl was not only innocent but sexually propositioned by the creep. We now need to
1. Know more about this creep
2. Celebrate the girl openly.
After the George Floyd case where the video was just chauvin kneeling on Floyd’s neck and Floyd groaning, after that I learnt not to jump to conclusions based on video snippets, but to learn the entire background before making any judgement calls

However, after the Rotherham rape scandal and this girl say, “Learn her alone, she’s only 12.” Then a grown man responding, “Go ahead and show me” Then she pulls out her axe and knife.
I think fair conclusions can be drawn from that myself.
If a grown man is harassing a young girl, after the girl says, “Leave her alone because she’s only 12”
I think that’s enough for me to draw reasonable conclusions.
Again, the video starts abruptly and ends abruptly. Based on that alone you can’t make out. Just as in the George Floyd case if you base just on a video snippet
I saw the video myself. I heard the words, “Leave her alone. She’s only 12.”
Then I heard a grown man’s voice continue to harass them.
Maybe I have a dirty mind. Maybe I’m a pervert.
But there is no other context in my mind that has those words and that context. Especially with the Rotherham sex scandal, where upwards of a million Teen British white girls were raped and sold into prostitution by mostly Pakistan Muslims.
The governing classes sold them out and made it widely known in the Muslim world that any Muslim men that came to Great Britain could acquire themselves pre-teen girlfriends and have their way with them. And any girls that complained or tried to defend themselves would find themselves jailed, as this girl was briefly and others were with a few spending years in prison for speaking up.
You’re welcome to create a context where the older girl says, “Leave her alone. She’s only 12.” Then a grown man is heard, “Show me your weapons.” I honestly can’t imagine any other context to those words, “Leave her alone. She’s only 12.”

If I came onto that scene and those were the only words I heard first, barring any further evidence, that would be my conclusion of a grown man trying to seduce a 12 year old girl.
I would have to know more for it to be anything else.
Given the information in Rupert Lowe’s report on rape gangs in Great Britain, official Britain is about a quarter of a million cases too late in the apology department.
The press are putting up a smokescreen to hide the real culprits: The elites and international moose limbs teamed up to invade civilized countries and molest their peoples.
The whole lot of culprits need to be deposed with extreme prejudice.
Only by UK's "Lord" class and other scum. The decent people all over the world hailed her is a heroine.

If people who used their arms to physically hurt minor girls had their arms chopped off at the shoulder, they could never again use their arms to hurt another, because, well, those arms were thrown away.

After first viewing that video, I would have bet my pension that the Scottish girl was just trying to defend herself. And that the man was a pig.
