NEW YORK, July 10 (Reuters) - U.S. drivers have seen gasoline prices climb again after weeks of steady declines, as renewed fighting between the U.S. and Iran lifted crudeoilprices to their biggest weekly rise in eight weeks. Disruptions in the global refining system and robust U.S. fuel exports further tightened supplies, and average pump prices rose 6 cents this week to $3.88 a gallon on Friday, AAA data showed. It was the biggest weekly increase since mid-May.

I live in LA, even with the “Cease fire” gas prices here are high due to NewSCUM’s gas tax even before the war started gas here was over 5 bucks a gallon
I remember when Biden begged Putin to invade Ukraine that Colbert went on his lil show and said that not only does he not give a damn about high gas prices he’d be happy with 15 bucks a gallon if it makes people buy electric cars

Under Biden, gas here in AZ was $5.40 and $5.65 a gallon.

It’s odd, but it’s also something that many people focus on.
Maybe that’s because any price change is obvious. It can be noticed immediately. And then folks will be looking for someone to blame.
