President Trump is poised to pardon a slate of people convicted of emissions and clean air-related violations, and is still discussing other potential acts of clemency, including for Sean "Diddy" Combs or several other well-known figures, according to sources familiar with his plans.
The president was scheduled to have a meeting Friday afternoon on the topic of pardons and planned to decide based on recommendations from advisers, two of the sources said.

They’ll pack the Supreme Court. Then they’ll rule Trump’s pardons to be “illegal”. So it won’t matter if Trump preemptively pardons his allies such as Tulsi Gabbard. Especially on her report on Fauci’s role in Covid-19.
President Trump received a letter from “Diddy” asking for a pardon and Trump said he would look at the facts. He told the NYT during a interview that he was not inclined to pardon him.
Diddy is not on the July 2026 list for a pardon.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is in prison after being convicted of two counts of violating the Mann Act, which criminalizes the transportation of individuals across state lines for prostitution.
He was sentenced in October 2025 to 50 months (just over four years) behind bars, along with five years of supervised release and a $500,000 fine.
The charges stemmed from extensive evidence and testimony that he used his power and resources to fly girlfriends and male escorts across the country to participate in forced, drug-fueled sexual encounters.
Although prosecutors also charged Combs with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking—which carried potential life sentences—a jury acquitted him of those more serious charges.
He is currently serving his sentence at the FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is appealing the conviction.
