NEW: Trump Threatens “the Islamic Republic of Iran Will No Longer Exist” Following Collapse of Ceasefire – CENTCOM Releases Footage of US Strikes (VIDEO)

President Trump on Saturday threatened to wipe Iran off the face of the Earth after US forces launched strikes against the country for its violations of the 60-day memorandum of understanding and ceasefire.

“It is very possible that they will never learn!” Trump said, noting that Iranian missile, drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites were hit by US aircraft.

“There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started,” he continued. “If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”

United States aircraft just struck Iranian missile and drone storage locations, and coastal radar sites, for violating the Cease Fire Agreement, AGAIN! It is very possible that they will never learn! There may come a point when we are no longer able to be reasonable, and will be forced to militarily complete the job that we very successfully started. If that happens, the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist! President DJT

United States Central Command released footage of US strikes earlier against 10 targets in and around the Strait of Hormuz.

“U.S. Navy and Air Force fighter jets conducted strikes tonight on 10 Iranian military targets at multiple locations in and near the Strait of Hormuz for Iran’s drone attack on M/T Kiku.“

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the US military conducted strikes against Iranian missile and drone storage locations on Friday after the President said Iran committed a “foolish violation of our ceasefire agreement” by launching drones at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz.

CENTCOM announced on Saturday that additional strikes were launched against “multiple targets in Iran” following another attack on a commercial vessel.

“After yesterday’s U.S. strikes in response to the Iranian attack on M/V Ever Lovely, Iran was given a chance to honor the ceasefire agreement but elected not to when its forces launched a one-way attack drone that hit M/T Kiku this morning at 4:30 a.m. ET,” CENTCOM said.

“U.S. military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and minelayer capabilities.”

MORE:

Earlier, Iran also launched a drone attack against Bahrain, according to Fox's Trey Yingst. Bahrain responded, calling the attack "a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a flagrant threat to the security of citizens and residents, and a blatant breach of international norms."

This is a developing story.

Start taking out critical infrastructure. And don’t stop.

From the time we started engines until Baghdad fell was 26 days.

We lost fewer than 150 men.

In Iraq, we staged 600,000 soldiers and Marines from safe bases and took seven months to prepare the invasion.

Iran is nothing like Iraq.

The Islamic Republic of Iran “will no longer exist” only under two possibilities. Either there is a popular revolution, or we send in many ground troops.

Neither is likely to happen. I get why Trump is talking with such bravado. Threats sometimes work. But repeated threats quickly lose their effect. And they confuse folks on the home front.

Every time Iran attacks, respond, but twll them the damages they caused and fines will amount to $10 billion in Compensation to the US, to be paid by thir frozen assets. Soon they will have no frozen assets.

I understand why Trump pivoted to the terrible idea of trying to slap together some kind of “deal” and declare victory. He’s trying to get this out of the news until after the midterms. But the first problem with this misguided approach is that the Iranians are fully aware of the politics of the midterms, and they know that if the dems take over Congress the chaos they will unleash will keep Trump distracted with investigations and more impeachments for the rest of his term, making it highly unlikely that he would be able to reopen the war against them.

So, that’s why the Iranians are playing games, trying to dangle enough of an imaginary carrot to keep him involved in trying to negotiate, but never quite allowing a true resolution to occur. And they don’t really care, either, if their games cause trump to periodically launch limited strikes. They’re just trying to do whatever they can to prolong the chaos until the midterms, to try to sway them toward the dems. Trump and our military were on the right path initially and were close to finishing off that regime, but then right at the crucial moment something weird happened and Trump went wobbly. It’s been all downhill since then.

Whatever happened to fighting to win, total victory, if and when we have to use our military? Once we made the decision to attack Iran (which I think was the right decision), the ONLY path out of it was to destroy that regime and pave the way for a democratic replacement. And just to pre-empt the isolationist naysayers, NO, Iran is not Afghanistan or Iraq. Instead, Trump is now pursuing the worst possible path, trying to manufacture a quick resolution through a meaningless agreement that the mullahs will never honor, just for political expediency. So we’ve wounded the dangerous animal, but now we’re going to let it live so that it can spend day and night plotting revenge against us, while we also stab the pro-western Iranian people in the back, and demonstrate once again for all the world to see that America talks big, but doesn’t have the stomach to finish what we start. Other bad actors around the world are learning that all you have to do to defeat the U.S. is just make it politically uncomfortable for us to back up our big words.

I still love Trump, but he is really snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with this.

Trying to be president of the Middle East is like herding cats. Wastes a lot of time and energy.

Over 4000 of those deaths occurred during the following 8 years of nation building.

The regime change cost less than 150.

We were never close to “finishing off” any regime. It doesn’t matter how many bombs we drop or send unlimited amounts of missiles at them. Even if you drop a nuclear bomb on them (these are not the Japanese in WWII), this regime WILL NOT FALL with just bombs or bombing ANYTHING there. Only PEOPLE ARMED on the ground to physically kill bad guys and hold territory will be the only to WIN this thing. So unless you arm good guys on the ground, this will not end.

No need to do that. What should be done is that our military (with the Israelis - STOP the ridiculous and obscene demonizing of Israel) goes all-out against what remains of the IRGC’s military assets, while simultaneously launching a massive effort to arm the large segment of the population that is pro-western and crying out for help.

We pave the way by finishing the job of destroying Iran’s military assets, and equip the Iranian people to go remove and replace the regime themselves.

I read Trumps post, and I think he has pretty much had it. He tried, he was given bad advice by my guess Vance, to stop the war, telling him it cannot be won, but if he had just given it another month, bombing whatever was left to bomb, and allowing Israel to kill off the remainder of this regime, which they know exactly where every single one is located, this would have ended much differently, its not about winning, its about showing some damn dignity, trust me, if Trump just bombs the crap out of them and Israel kills off whatever regime members they can, trust me people will have MUCH more respect for this Administration, this needs to be done, the regime must be destroyed.

Trump should just STFU and stop OVERSELLING scenarios. He’s looking like a fool and should just ACT and DO SOMETHING that will work to KEEP THE STRAIGHT OPEN, like arm the Iranian people to get rid of this regime instead of trying to make deals with these devils.

I just said that, but we have to continue paving the way by destroying whatever remains of Iran’s military capability. But I agree that we must at the same time arm the anti-regime civilians and let them remove the regime, because they know exactly who they are and where they are, from the top all the way down to the local IRGC thugs.
