Tucker Carlson blasts MAGA movement with foul-mouthed insult to Trump over threats to Iran

Tucker Carlson had an expletive-filled kiss off to Donald Trump as he continues to burn bridges within the White House over the Iran War.

The former Fox News anchor has been one of most public critics from the right of Trump's foreign policy, coming to a head with the strikes on Tehran.

Carlson, appearing on the Jack Neel Podcast, accused Trump of feigning strength by using empty threats against Iran as the war continued on.

'He tried to posture his way out of it,' Carlson said of the President after the initial killing of Ayatollah Khomeini didn't force Iran's surrender.

'And and after like the 400th Truth Social, they reached the same conclusion that everyone on the globe reached, which is this guy's not strong, he's weak,' Carlson said.

Carlson has long supported Trump and even spoke at his infamous Madison Square Garden rally in support of his return to the White House in 2024.

However, Carlson appears to have defected from Trump in the months since the war began.

In an April 15 clip from the Tucker Carlson Show, which is the former Fox host's popular independent podcast, Carlson became biblical in his criticism.

'Here's a leader mocking the gods of his ancestors, mocking the god of gods, and exalting himself above them,' Carlson said in the clip.

'Could this be the Antichrist?' he then said. 'Well, who knows?'

'Strong people don't brag about how strong they are. They just punch you in the face and end the conversation.'

He then compared Trump to a boxer who was all talk and taunting but 'you don't have to worry about' when they make threats, before sending him a blunt message.

'Shut up, b****. I don't take you seriously. I'm not being mean but like, come on,' Carlson said of Trump.

Recently, Carlson has repeatedly taken to praising sharia law and suggesting Islam and its totalitarian legal code offer an inspiring moral clarity in contrast with today’s Western decadence. He has visited virtually seemingly every country in the Arab world, produced propaganda films for a few of them, and even announced his attention to buy a house a Qatar. He has called Hamas not a jihadist but a political organization, said he’d apologize to the family of Osama bin Laden, and has severely downplayed the Americans who have been killed in recent decades by Islamism. And earlier this week, the eponymous Tucker Carlson Network, in a seemingly earnest post better suited for a satirical Babylon Bee headline, offered this cherry on top: “Muslims love Jesus.”

Carlson chose to interview Cooper, whom he endorsed as “the best and most honest popular historian in the United States” to learn exactly how World War II didn’t happen. According to Cooper — and Carlson nodded along the entire time — Winston Churchill was perhaps “the chief villain of the Second World War” and “primarily responsible for that war becoming what it did.”

It’s true that Hitler did not want or expect Britain to fight. He wanted Britain to acquiesce to German dominance of Europe from the Urals to Gibraltar and subsume the UK to Nazi interests. This is all a matter of historical record. Britain could fight or submit — that was Hitler’s choice, not Churchill’s.

FLASHBACK: Carlson chose to interview Isaac to find out how the Jewish State of Israel treats Christians. Isaac is a priest who neither lives nor works in Israel and who uses the loaded phrase “Occupied Palestine” as his location on his Twitter/X profile. He is a Palestinian Christian from Palestinian-controlled Bethlehem, where Christian ministers serve at the mercy of the Palestinian Authority.

Tucker seems a bit unstable to me.

When your career is based on lying about who you really are, eventually it will catch up with you. And if you’re especially good at fooling people, as Tucker apparently was, it’s a particularly hard fall once the truth finally comes out. I never bought Tucker’s schtick, but he was apparently successful at convincing many conservatives that he was not only one of them, but one of the movement’s leaders.

The smug way he would insult the left made him very popular with many conservatives, and their admiration eventually convinced Tucker’s massive ego that it was him they loved, not the false persona, which he had spent his career cultivating. That was his hubris, and now that he’s dropped the mask and revealed his true self to the world, he’s finding out how despised the true Tucker is to most people. If he could go back to pretending, he probably would, but it’s too late for him now. His career is in its death spiral.
