Can a headline have anymore abbv.?
I haven’t flown in years, so this is an honest question: Can TSA demand the PIN to your cell phone?
Yes and no.
They can take your device and then get a rubber stamp warrant to code break it or just use the built in backdoor access for gov use.
CBP can domestic TSA cannot.
International Flights (CBP): If you are traveling internationally, different rules apply. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) does have the authority to search electronic devices at the border, though U.S. citizens cannot be denied entry for refusing to unlock a phone. However, CBP can confiscate your device for weeks or months if you refuse.
IDK?
