The memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran leaves untouched key military capabilities that President Donald Trump cited when launching the conflict Feb. 28, raising concerns among Gulf Arab allies and security analysts about Tehran's ability to project power across the Middle East.
The MOU signed Wednesday ends hostilities between the U.S. and Iran but imposes no restrictions on Tehran's ballistic missile arsenal, drone stockpiles, or its network of allied militias operating throughout the region, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
"The MOU doesn't address any of Iran's core power-projection capabilities," Hasan Alhasan, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies and former adviser to Bahrain's crown prince, told the Journal.

End Iran's ability to project power outside its' own borders
Nobody in the administration has mentioned Iran's power projection since. And I don't think they will, though I would like to see some reporters asking about it.
Now the administration is demanding an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon...a location where Iran was projecting power via a terrorist force.
And POTUS has said Iran can keep its’ missiles, making all the Gulf states hostage again.
They expected it to fold immediately like Syria did?
Hezbollah and the Houthis remain intact. Iran’s ballistic missile and drone programs will grow over the next few years. With Iran weaponizing the strait and threatening oil and gas infrastructure, the GCC will be forced to rethink America’s ability and willingness to ensure stability in the region. I expect China will step in and offer to restrain Iran in return for increased port access and the end of US military control of the Gulf.
As a veteran I hate to say this but Iran just kicked our asses. That and “the sacred mid-term ‘elections’” are going to make sure 250 will be America’s last birthday. After this one, we’ll all be eating Spam sandwiches with hammers and sickles and Swastikas on them for the holidays.

Vance is even telling Israel to sit down and shut up and don’t you dare jeopardize the “deal” your superpower boss has negotiated. Without us, Israel, you’re nothing, you’d cease to exist. We want our cheap gas. It doesn’t matter if your people are being killed day in and day out and your cities are subjected to almost constant rocket attacks from Lebanon so numerous that your children can only play underground in tunnels.
If I were Israel, I’d tell Vance where he can stick his deal. And I’d continue to do whatever is necessary to protect my country and its people. Bomb the hell out of Hamas, Hezbollah, and the rest of them. Toady Vance is finished in my book.
I suggest Rubio separate himself from Vance and Trump if he wants to be president. Backstabbing, arrogant, insufferable jerks that they are. And I voted for Trump three times so no one here dare claim I’m just a never-Trumper. And I’m not a Zionist Jew, either. Trump should take his fake gold geegaws and leave. And take Vance with him.
