Iran's top joint military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said on Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz would be closed to vessel traffic, citing alleged violations of a ceasefire agreement by the U.S. and Israel, Iran's Mehr state news agency reported.
It said that the closure was the "first step" in response to what it described as breaches of commitments and warned that further measures would be taken if "aggression" continued.

Well, that didn’t take long....
“They want to make a deal so bad”
Inevitable given the Israeli/Hezbollah forever spat.
Rule #1: You can’t force a terrorist into a ‘deal’ unless the terrorist is dead.
Ditto
Why aren’t we sinking anything that floats from Iran? Almost like this “distraction” is being strung along for something...
It’s not hard to open, but Trump refuses to commit forces to open it in the way Reagan once did in the 80s, when Iran had Tomcats comparable to the best US fighters, and state of the art US SAMs and anti-ship missiles. Trump’s fear of US casualties is extreme to an unprecedented degree, when the US military is much more lopsidedly dominant vs Iran.
ITGC Navy says this. Iranian Leadership says something different
There are multiple factions in Iran. The administrative faction of the government wants to make a deal, the hard line military people don’t.
In the short term, the military is going to be more influential because they hold the guns. Eventually though, without the administrative support they aren’t going to have the money to pay the soldiers’ salaries and the military’s upkeep.
They are begging to get their oil fields destroyed... and another set of leaders blown to bits. This latest ploy is to try and force more concessions.
Surprise, surprise, surprise! 🙄
I was gonna say the same thing!
It won’t happen. This war and the nonsense coming out of Washington are both guided by the price of oil.
After Trump finishes issuing meaningless threats at Iran and blaming Bibi for defending his country, I guess DJT will have to go back and surrender again and offer more tribute to the mullahs.
The President has been holding off on destroying infrastructure in Iran because he still wants the people of Iran to overthrow the regime. They still hate it and want to see it go. Only fear is keeping the regime in power.
They have no Navy how can they close it ,LOL
“They want to make a deal so bad”

We are dealing with people locked into a 7th century mentality. The only thing they understand is overwhelming power and the willingness to use it.
Jack Posobec was just on with Steve Bannon, saying think tanks, etc are floating the idea of using our most powerful H Bomb on Tehran.
Drone attacks?
