The line between reality and satire gets thinner by the day.
If you didn't hear, the fake news has gone all-out this past week with actual journalism (albeit stupid journalism) into the algae bloom that has hit Trump's renovated Reflecting Pool on the National Mall.
It's funny that they didn't have time to analyze the water when it was dark green during Obama's years, or to pay attention to billions in migrant fraud, or to investigate Covid lies, but they did have time to send a crew to get water samples to make Trump look bad. 😂
The reason for the algae is simple.
After the renovations to the pool were completed earlier this month, they turned the water pumps back on. As anyone with a pond or fish tank can tell you, residual algae in the pipes will immediately take advantage of the available space and it will reproduce like crazy if given light and nutrients.
A team of filtration experts was spotted dosing the pool with a peroxide solution earlier this week to kill the algae. According to a spokesman for the Interior Department, nanobubblers "will maintain the pool and keep it algae free."
If you don't know, the power of bubbles is a major component of God's design to keep lakes and oceans clean.
Saltwater aquarium hobbyists use devices called protein skimmers that use the natural action of bubbles to trap dirt and other debris (like algae) and remove it, mimicking the foam you see on a shoreline.
Likewise, nanobubblers can inject tiny bubbles that stay in the water for a long time, which oxygenates the water. This not only drives down carbon dioxide that algae need, but it also keeps stagnated sediment from releasing phosphates (plant fertilizer).
In other words, the Trump admin is doing exactly what it should be doing, because this ain't rocket science.
Over the past few days, they have been cleaning out the remaining pockets of algae to make sure the pool is cleaned. 👇
The "Team Algae" protesters have not specified if they are angry about the algae removal itself, or if they are simply trolling Trump for having a common water-cycling problem with said pool.

Forrest Gump said it best: stupid is as stupid does, and these protesters are beyond stupid.
The peroxide caused the blue paint to peel up. The staggering incompetence combined with the amazing graft is what they’re protesting, not the existence of algae. The fact that the algae was not anticipated by the unqualified firm that bribed Trump to win the inflated contract is what is at issue. That and the fact that this “renovation” was supposed to highlight dapper don’s competence with physical infrastructure.
Cheering for pond scum.
My gawd the know it all. Why didn’t you call and let them know you are expert on algae and expert in hate also. sit down you are a downer of a human being.
These people are so... ridiculously stupid. The algae isn’t permanent.
It’s because they are swamp dwellers.
“The peroxide caused the blue paint to peel up. “
You have some proof of that, Mr/Mrs/Ms Babbler?
you have staggering levels of TDS
It's not paint, and the peroxide didn't make it "peel up." Where did you get that bit of misinformation, these pond scum worshipers?
It’s all just trolling Trump, it’s a minor example to them of how he handles other things
the blue color caused the algae because it’s a darker color causing it to heat up more from the sun
the blue also caused it to not “reflect” any more like it is supposed to by name
Go back to Blue Sky troll
Ah, yes, another envious little ‘tard trolling for attention. No amount of peroxide can damage paint if poured into a pool of water. It kills cells, yah TWOT.
I’m on my cell phone and at lunch, so can’t fully respond with the many ways you are 100% wrong. Suffice it to say I follow daily YT vids from a news photographer who lives in DC. He is covering the reflecting pool daily. No paint peeled. The algae problem is due to the old filtration system and pipes being broken and not maintained for many years.
