Lacking All Self-Awareness, Hillary Clinton Says Biden Made Mistake by Running
FrontPage Magazine ^ | June 18 2026 | Daniel Greenfield

People are still asking Hillary Clinton what she thinks about things largely because, like Genghis Khan and Keanu Reeves, she has name recognition, even if she doesn’t have anything else.

David Remnick, the editor who destroyed the New Yorker, asked Hillary Clinton at the 92nd Street Y (unless you’re a New Yorker, you won’t get it anyway) if Biden made a mistake by running.

Political pot meet Clinton kettle.

Asked by Remnick whether Biden made a “terrible mistake” by running in 2024, Clinton responded, “He made a terrible mistake. He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy and for the country.”

While Clinton acknowledged that “counterfactual narratives are always a bit tricky,” she said she believed that had Biden maintained his original plan to serve only one term and announced that he would “pass the torch to the next generation, we would have had a real contest.”

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Biden passed the torch (or had it pried out of his shaking hands) to Kamala and she lost badly.

But never mind that. Despite previously losing a presidential primary and despite having all the political appeal of a stale tuna sandwich that was stepped on by an elephant, Hillary Clinton chose to run in 2016 while upstaging Joe Biden. Obama shoved Biden into the Rose Garden and made him promise not to run. Then Hillary badly lost to Trump, Biden got his revenge by running and becoming president, and while he was a terrible candidate, so was Hillary. Both of them ran because of ego, not because they were genuinely the best man or woman for the job. Both of them helped put Trump in the White House. Clinton taking a shot at Biden’s legacy is a joke. They share the same legacy.

Both Clinton and Biden were notoriously crooked politicians who helped put Trump in the White House. The difference is the Clintons were better at cashing out, but in Joe’s defense, at least Chelsea Clinton wasn’t a crackhead who blew all the Chinese and Ukrainian cash on hookers and crack (that we know of.)

An excellent Mr greenfield article for you to enjoy.

We got the same thing but we’re not as bad. You’re right about the ego part. Kamala should have learned back in 2019. Nixon had a remarkable comeback in ‘68 and so did Trump so it’s not unheard of.

So Clintonesque (heave).

She was singing a different tune back then.

A little over three years ago, Clinton was asked about Biden running for a second term.

“I think he’s done a really terrific job and so yes, I want him to run,
if that’s what he wants to do, and of course, I’ll support him,” she told Forbes in 2023.

Hillary is a perpetual blamer, there's that.

I look at the 24 Dem primary as kind of a power struggle, coupled with an imperious, controlling motive to avoid any of those pesky primary elections.

I'm curious, in a pitying way, as to how much Joe had to say about anything, then or for many years previous.

Hillary should have realized that when she lost in 2008, enough people didn’t like her that she would never be president. However she craved money, power, and fame.

You mean a real contest like the one in 2016 where you and the DNC stacked the deck to ensure Bernie had no path to winning the nomination?

She also lost because the MSM had the dirt on John Edwards (affairs and out of wedlock child), but waited until Obama had the nomination sewed up or nearly so. Edwards and Clinton split the anti-Obama vote.

If the stories about Edward came out at the end of 2007 or the beginning of 2008 who knows what the results would have been in a contest between Hillary and Obama.

I love Hillary, I especially love the fact she’s never going to be POTUS.

Biden didn’t “run” for president. The machine anointed him and cheated him into office.
