Senior U.S. officials on Wednesday dictated the 14 points of the memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran, reading the text of the agreement to reporters on a phone call. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Iran has not officially released the memorandum.
Key points of the deal include:
*Both sides agreed to "the immediate and permanent end to military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon."
*Iran can begin exporting oil as soon as the MOU is signed.
*Iran "will make arrangements using its best efforts for the safe passage of commercial vessels with no charge for 60 days only from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman and vice versa."
* The U.S. and regional partners will develop a reconstruction plan for Iran worth at least $300 billion.
* Iran affirms that it "shall not procure or develop nuclear weapons." The two sides "have agreed to resolve the disposition of stockpiled enriched material."
* U.S. sanctions on Iran will be lifted on schedule as a part of a final deal, linked to nuclear compliance.
* There will be 60 days to sign a final agreement, which the two sides can agree to extend.
"If it doesn't get done in 60 days, that's all right. We go back to bombing," President Trump said at the G7 in France Wednesday. "I don't want to do that, because it's so good, but we might have to, because we're never going to let them have a nuclear weapon."

The exact TEXT of the MOU are in the text of the article, click the above article link to read it.
IMHO, The one thing that’s missing in this MOU is the silence on any prohibition of the funding of Iran’s terrorist proxies like Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis and Iraqi terrorist militias. Israel’s security concerns seem to have been totally ignored…
CBS, senior officials, etc.
Name them. I’ll wait for Trump to tell us.
They NEVER give their names...
That’s the way See BS operates...
> The U.S. and regional partners will develop a reconstruction plan for Iran worth at least $300 billion. <
Any idea on where that $300 billion will come from? If it’s from “regional partners”, that would be bad enough.
But if even $1 is from the American taxpayer, I think I’ll lose my mind.
So, the same as the MOU that was leaked earlier and so many people here denied was real.
RE: Any idea on where that $300 billion will come from? If it’s from “regional partners”, that would be bad enough.
From the Gulf states involved. Trump and Vance already said not one dime of American money will be used.
RE: I’ll wait for Trump to tell us.
You’ll soon find out that this IS the exact text of the MOU.
What Trump can provide will be additional details of its implementation.
The U.S. and regional partners will develop a reconstruction plan for Iran worth at least $300 billion.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s a lot of money. Would it go mainly to US contractors? Seems like it could result in a pretty sizable US “contingent” being inserted into Iran.
I dont see Hezbollah listed. Honestly all of this is for show anyway. Just watch, this is just about moving things along so the gas prices go down and inflation goes down, once the midterms are over and we God willing keep both houses, Trump is gonna bomb the crap out of them you cant negotiate with Iran its NEVER GONNA HAPPEN
Trump is already saying the 60 days doesn’t mean much...extensions
RE: I dont see Hezbollah listed.
Yep. The one thing that’s missing in this MOU is the silence on any prohibition of the funding of Iran’s terrorist proxies like Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis and Iraqi terrorist militias. Israel’s concerns seem to have been totally ignored…
Also, no mention of ICBM development. Iran already has shown that they have missiles reaching as far as Diego Garcia ( that’s enough distance to reach most European countries).
With China and Russia’s help, they can in time develop missiles that could reach the USA.
No I mean forcing Israel to get out of Lebanon, did I miss it I dont see Lebanon listed here. Heck, honestly who cares, its all for show anyway, November 5th they go back to bombing Iran that is the plan..it could be the best damn deal in the world and Iran would NEVER do it even if they signed it, everyone knows it
I see. Just listened to a talk show and the host said he received a reading from an official on behalf of the President.
I believe him.
Huh?
The very first point: “The United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and their allies in the current war, by signing this MOU, declare the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon, and undertake from now on not to initiate any war or any military operation against each other, and to refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and ensuring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Lebanon. The final deal will confirm the permanent termination of the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon and other provisions of this paragraph.”
Don’t forget the $25 billion in “unfrozen assets” going back to Iran according to the “MOU”:
When did he say that? Evidence?
For the Dems’ sake and the young people of America, will there be a brief SparkNotes, Cliff’s Notes or ChatGPT style for them, or a shortened Audible or Spotify version that doesn’t require actual reading?
