Hill also compared Karmelo Anthony's case to George Zimmerman and Kyle Rittenhouse, both acquitted on self-defense
Former ESPN host Jemele Hill says she feels "terribly sad" about the situation involving Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf.
Specifically, she's sad that Anthony, who murdered Metcalf, was represented by a white lawyer.
"This is just terribly sad," Hill wrote on Threads in response to Anthony having a white attorney. "Also, there were black attorneys that reached out, but there are some hard lessons in this case that our community needs to remember." That's her takeaway from a case that ended with the senseless death of a 17-year-old boy: Anthony should have had a black lawyer.

I did hear some people say the lawyer didn't do a good job. One thing is he promised certain things in his opening argument that were not delivered.
Why do they keep bringing up Kyle Rittenhouse? The three people he shot and killed were white.
If anybody wants to feel sorry for this murderer, He’s the idiot who pulled this stunt. He’s in a prison with some other bad actors that don’t give a 💩about him. Some that are already lifers. He don’t know 💩but he’s about to learn. It’ll be a steep curve. I wonder if he saw that coming in his “gangsta” videos.

Do all these black media mouthpieces have no empathy at all for the actual murder victim? It’s “terribly sad” for Karmelo, who will get three hots and a cot until he’s 52 but there’s no sympathy for whitey who must have got what was comin’. I seriously doubt he will be in prison until he is 52.
They bring up Rittenhouse to play on ppls ignorance. Kyle’s situation was documented on video and imagery clearing defending himself from active assault. These ppl are being intentionally obtuse in order to obfuscate the differences while claiming disparate treatment.
For many of them, yes, they want us dead.
There are plenty of Blacks who would never think this way, but there are also plenty who do.

I worked in a prison for 25 years. Seeing some of the young dudes have the reality of their situation finally sink in was instructional. A few of them I told “you’re gonna learn to lock or whatever sentence you have is going to seem twice as long and 3 times as difficult”. Some listened. Most just had to bash their head against that brick wall until they learned that it feels great when you stop.

I never saw a case where the kid is more guilty. The only hope for him was to get some celebrity lawyer to use the levers of the democrat party to generate a movement. Make him into a ‘cause célèbre’. But that kind of thing costs real money. And it would have exhausted their givesendgo money. And there was that new car payment that needed to be made. And there was this house they always wanted too.
In what universe does a young black man get to murder a young white man just because he feels like it?
These defenders of this murderer want some kind of America where vicious black murderers get a free pass.
That is the kind of mindset that would quickly launch widespread vigilante justice.
We have a justice system of trials and jury decisions. There is no other choice for a civilized society.
There are a surprising number of people who think Kyle shot 3 black people.
From what I’ve heard, the family raised between 600-700k online from givesendgo for his defense but spent the money on a new house instead of hiring a defense attorney and the kid ended up with a public defender
So the family prioritized a fancy new house over a defense attorney and their son is now in prison for 35 years

Well if you want to feel sad, this is a good opportunity. Austin is dead and Karmelo might as well be. I blame his parents and the dumbass black hoodculture. It’s a hell of a note. It’s just a sad sack of 💩.
