A Maryland Marine veteran was forced to remember his training as four hooded teenagers quickly regretted pulling a gun on him during an attempted robbery.
Jheyco Borda, 35, was working on his truck Wednesday afternoon in Oxon Hill when the teens approached him at around 4.30.
Surveillance footage captured the moment one teen reached into his pocket just moments later and pulled out a gun, pointing it directly at Borda.
'I saw six kids come by playing around… and out of my corner of my eye, they stepped in front of my car,' Borda told Telemundo44.
'I saw them put on a face mask. As soon as I figured that one out, I was like, something's about to go down.'
The Marine said he told the teen that his truck was on and the keys were inside before they also demanded his phone.
'I gave [my phone] to him. When he got distracted looking at my phone, that was the split second when I grabbed the gun out of his hand,' he continued.
The footage showed the moment Borda lunged at the teenager, sparking a commotion on the side of the street.

I don’t think most of the experts would advise this; you would really have to fear for your life to try it.
Now that is what we can call a Maryland Man.

They were crying like little girls when the tables were turned on them. These clowns are always “gangstas” when they think they have the upper hand, but when their potential victims gain the advantage, they are just “kids”. Prison is not going to be kind to these idiots. They will find out very quickly that they aren’t the “gangstas” they thought they were. But then again, this is far left Maryland. The perps will be treated with kid gloves and the victims in this case may actually be charged.
Yet another example of why you need to be on guard and aware whenever “teens” are in the vicinity. Stop worrying about the “optics” of crossing the street when you see them coming or paying closer attention when they are in an area where they are outliers, especially when they are wearing full hooded sweatshirts covering their faces in warm weather. It is simply pattern recognition and it may save your life.
Decent job but to me the gun says that boy forfeits his mobility or life. But I’m former Army so what do I know.
They held the two for the cops but four ended up arrested, meaning the wanna-bees ratted out their “homies” when they could have kept that to themselves. Wait till THAT gets out in jail LOL!

This Marine makes us proud. Those hoodlums will remember this Marine for a long time.
