CHICAGO - About 100 people gathered at Horner Park Wednesday evening to protest a federal immigration arrest that took place a day earlier in Albany Park.
The demonstration comes after witnesses reported seeing federal agents chase a man through traffic near Lawrence and Kedzie before taking him into custody. Witnesses also said agents used a Taser during the arrest and that one of the federal vehicles collided with a woman’s car while attempting to stop the man.
The Department of Homeland Security identified the man as 26-year-old Domer Jesus Martinez-Sifontes, a Venezuelan national who allegedly entered the United States illegally in 2023.
According to DHS, Martinez-Sifontes assaulted officers, attempted to flee on foot and continued resisting arrest after being apprehended.

Dear Democrats: I have a compromise for you. It will keep your maids, lawn care professionals, construction helpers and gardeners, while keeping AMERICANS safe. You keep them in your house - feed them, take care of them and SPEND YOUR OWN G-- DAME MONEY on them with them not leave your property, while Americans can live like we should!
Maybe if you count joggers, cyclists and homeless who happened to pass this event. From what I saw, I estimate >50 in attendance. Paltry for the 3rd largest city in America. Very tight shots of the crowd is done to mask low turnout numbers.
That is NOT free speach. That's trying to subvert the election process and influence the outcome of elections.

When I review the Bill of Rights, I see nothing that gives one the right to endanger law enforcement officers by resisting arrest.
A taser is a reliably effective tool to assure law enforcement officers are not endangered by those violently resisting arrest
The Albany Park neighborhood has become a barrio within the city limits of Sh*tcago, Illinois. ICE could operate there 52 weeks per year and still be backlogged.
