Hockey Time! The Eielson Icemen pose for a photo at the Big Dipper Arena in Fairbanks, Alaska. Hockey teams from Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force base competed in the annual Commander’s Cup. The long-standing tradition began in 1996 and helps build camaraderie across the branches and maintain morale among the service members. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Carson Jeney)

Canteen Mission Statement
Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies' military and family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

Everyone In Formation! U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II’s assigned to the 61st Fighter Squadron and an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the 309th Fighter Squadron, fly in formation over Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The F-35A is the U.S. Air Force’s latest fifth-generation fighter bringing enhanced capability to survive in the advanced threat environment in which it was designed to operate. Flying operations at Luke AFB contribute to advancing training, producing mission command focused U.S., allied and partner Airmen to meet warfighter needs. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Katelynn Jackson)
Snow Removal Time!An equipment operator with the Fort McCoy snow-removal team clears snow at Fort McCoy, WI. Winter and spring in Wisconsin can provide all kinds of bad weather, including freezing rain, snow, or sleet at any time or even all in one day. When that happens, the Fort McCoy snow-removal team plows through whatever Mother Nature dishes out. The team includes contractor Kaiyuh Services LLC and Directorate of Public Works personnel and many others. The team helps keep more than 400 miles of roads, sidewalks, and parking areas clear so the Fort McCoy workforce can operate safely. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T. Sturkol, Public Affairs Office, Fort McCoy, WI)
Look! It’s a Plant! Excitement All Around! Mr. Ron Tickle, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Real Property, met with Capt. Mark Sohaney, commander, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), and personnel from the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) during a site tour of the JBPHH FY22 REPI Challenge Award: Protecting Watersheds Above JBPHH. The watersheds above JBPHH are home to Navy wells and a large source of the island's potable water supply. The Navy is working with DLNR to manage the watersheds, protect and restore native species, and eradicate invasive species which are rapidly dispersing throughout the islands. Neato photo of the F-16 with the F-35As.
Wonder what kind of turbulence different fighter jets produce in formation and how they counteract it.

Well, I laid down “for a minute’’ before showering, and you see what happened. I sort of dozed off. But I feel better now.
Good idea. I might just go out there when I’m caught up. LOL!

Need to stop lying down in the evenings. You’re gonna have your sleep schedule ALL messed up. LOL
NOAA says it’s 72 degrees there this evening. Nice temp for sitting outside for a bit after your shower.
