Vladimir Putin has suffered a fresh wave of war humiliation amid warnings that his unaffordable conflict with Ukraine is pushing his economy to the brink of collapse.
Russia's Finance Ministry and its central bank has projected the government's budget deficit widening to a dangerous level if the Kremlin continues at the current rate of defence expenditure, according to Bloomberg.
The stark warning came as Putin suffered further setbacks on the frontline, where the tide of the war is increasingly turning in Ukraine's favour.
And authorities in Crimea are urging citizens not to panic amid ongoing petrol shortages with pictures showing queues of cars waiting at gas stations.
Russian troops have lost territory for the second straight month in a row with analysis of data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) showing that Ukraine retook control of more land than it lost to Putin's forces in May.
Ukraine's army gained a net 282 square kilometres (109 square miles) over the month, the data showed, as Kyiv hails its improving fortunes on the sprawling battlefields across the south and east of the country.
However, it has not stopped the Kremlin's relentless bombardment of its neighbour with a huge overnight barrage of missiles and drones killing at least 11 people, injuring dozens and trapping others.

“And yet, more than four years in they still haven’t lost, “
Following the gains made in Spring 2022 Russia has lost significant territory, millions of casualties and billions of dollars.
Russia’s economy is in the toilet.

They do when you’re losing refineries and factories producing military equipment.
The focus on the budget issue doesn’t take into account the manpower drain which sometimes sends high tech people to the front to die.

Putin's not worried. His generals and advisers keep telling him to use a few nukes against Ukraine, and that would solve all of Russia's problems. And he still has a million or so bodies that he can send to the meat-grinder.
It ain't over till the 'tiny dancer' stomps all over Putin.

Daily Tale...buyer beware
To: TexasGator
I’m curious at what point Russia’s pain from the war effort will display itself obviously to outsiders? And of course just how much pain Putin is willing to make the Russian people endure to not give up on his invasion?
Will the West keep funding Ukraine to the level that it keeps a stalemate? Sure, I guess Russia can outlast and use attrition against Ukraine but just how painful a price are they willing to pay?
I’m guessing the Ukraine Drone counterattacks inside Russia will get worse for them.

The above article is supposed to educate you on the real goings-on in Ukraine and Russia. You continue to act in a deranged mode. Like I've been saying for years, Putin and Russia were going to lose this war, and now, you refuse to believe the truth. The ones that need the prayers the most are the Russians, especially their troops who are in the meat-grinder, where they will meet with certain death.

Government budget deficits don’t mean squat.
People still need to be paid for their labor, and if the labor is for manufacturing weapons and other war material, then, the war might as well be declared lost. Labor and materials have to be paid, and budget deficits won't pay for the labor and materials and the bribes to pay for their troops. Budget deficits don't matter as much in a country that's not at war. Duh!

Soon the Ukrainians will be marching on Moscow.
The Ukrainians doing most of the killing of Russians, are not Ukrainian soldiers; the killers are the drones and missiles and artillery and mines, etc. So, if anything is going to be marching into Moscow, it will be the drones and missiles and artillery, etc. Netflix will be making a movie called: "March Of The Drones; Destination: Moscow".
