New Mexico ‘Truth Commission’ begins investigation into Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, will issue subpoenas

“The New Mexico Survivor’s Truth Commission,” led by a bipartisan group of four lawmakers from New Mexico’s House of Representatives, said it will begin collecting evidence from a range of federal and local agencies including the US Justice Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Epstein’s estate, several major banks, the state’s Department of Justice and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department.

“Our aim is to repair the body politic that was violated in New Mexico, in this country, and around the world by one man’s predation, and by the silence and complicity and failures of many individuals and institutions by the power to stop it, and did not,” Democratic Rep. Andrea Romero, the chair of the commission, said. “We will not be the next ones who had the power to act and chose not to.”

The committee also plans on physically surveying the ranch, speaking with survivors and coordinating with local and federal law enforcement, as well as US Congress, culminating with a final report on its findings, the lawmakers said Monday.

Zorro Ranch, a sprawling piece of property outside of Santa Fe and one of multiple homes that Epstein owned, has been the source of much speculation...

Some of Epstein’s survivors, including Chauntae Davies and the late Virginia Giuffre, have said the ranch was one of the places where Epstein sexually assaulted them...

Davies told CNN in a recent interview. “You could feel the darkness there.”

Wasn't he simply a CIA child sex trafficker. It could be argued it was the body politic that trained, supported, enabled and financed his niche market. I think of it as the Hastert rule: Find a child rapist and put him into a position of power and in 8 years you will have the longest serving pliant Republican Speaker of the House.

"...Our aim is to repair the body politic that was violated in New Mexico...

In other words: to cover up for the Democrat politicians who were involved in and/or customers of the operation.

Re: "Wasn't Epstein simply a CIA child sex trafficker."

150-200 women have been paid off by Epstein or the Epstein Estate.

Only one of them has claimed that she was trafficked.

Virginia Giuffre claims she was trafficked to Prince Andrew three times when she was 17.

Andrew says he does not know Giuffre and never had sex with her.

That's it.

One female - three times.

Giuffre could have filed a criminal complaint against Andrew in New York City. She did nothing. She settled out of court for an unknown amount of money.

From the April 13, 2026 Santa Fe New Mexican:

“ The use of cadaver dogs had been speculated on but not previously confirmed publicly.”
——-
“ At this time we don’t believe there are items still located in the residence that would be of value to the investigation,” an FBI agent wrote in an email Aug. 23, 2019. The agent’s name is redacted.

But an unverified, anonymous tip released as part of the federal document dump alleged the bodies of two girls were buried “somewhere in the hills outside the Zorro.”
(That “tip” was a demand for 1 Bitcoin to release some video tapes and the location of two buried bodies. The FBI did not think this tip was credible.)
——-
“ Rick Illmer, an attorney for San Rafael Ranch, said in an email Monday, “To our knowledge, no physical evidence was found suggesting criminal activity by the prior owner.”

A little late isn’t it? The FBI probably already scrubbed the place.
