E. Jean Carroll’s rape allegations against President Donald Trump were never credible, and now she’s under investigation by the Department of Justice for perjury. Now, Byron York is digging into the case and has uncovered what could be the most elaborate political setup in history.
Trust me, the picture coming into focus is damning. Carroll has claimed, without any evidence, that Trump raped her sometime in 1995 or 1996. She can't remember which year. Nothing about her allegations makes any sense. Are we supposed to believe that she simply stayed quiet about it through Trump's rise to fame and politics, through his 2016 presidential run, and through the wave of #MeToo accusations that dominated the news cycle? Carroll said nothing about it for decades, and her stated reasons range from concern over her elderly Republican mother's health to worries that speaking out might actually help Trump win key states.
Right. Sure.
It wasn’t until 2019 that she came forward with her bizarre allegations. But she didn’t tell the police, she didn’t go to an elected official, or even to a journalist. She chose to disclose it in a book. Why? Because no other option would generate royalties.

Everyone knew it was Hoffman from the start.
The whole thing was a phony sideshow and the judge/jury were virulent Trump haters.
The absurdity of her claims were pointed out the whole way but they just kept on ignoring the obvious: it’s a fabrication.
E. Jean Carroll has been known for decades as a “gonzo journalist” in the mold of Hunter Thompson. Their MO is that they simply make up surreal stories that are nothing more then hypothetical fantasies.
I guess that she forgot about the commandments.
Hoffman needs a taste of his own medicine
We knew Hoffman was backing her, but the New York State legislature and Governor passed a law to let her sue so far after the statutes of limitations ran out. Sure, they let ‘everyone’ sue, within a 1 year window, but we also all knew it was really just to get Trump. So the real culprit behind this is the government of the State of New York.
I didnt know it was Hoffman, but I knew it was bs from thecstart.

And that means that Schumer set this in motion...cuz Hochul and the NY Legislature does sh** without Schumer’s approval.

Unfortunately President Trump did not help himself out when he commented on her being “not his type” and then mistakenly identifying her in a photo as his former wife Marla Maples who obviously was his type. Lesson should be never say anything as a target in a legal proceeding that you are not 100% certain of.
She cannot only provide a year, she can’t provide a date.
This is purposeful- because she was trying to avoid cameras and Trump’s travel calendar.
There’s no other case where there is no date or year to the offense.
The whole think is foul but why did Hoffman hate Trump in the first place?
She supposedly told 2 “outcry witnesses” right after the alleged event. But she conveniently didn’t disclose all the required materials in the discovery phase - specifically a series of emails showing that shortly after Trump was elected she & one of her outcry witnesses emailed each other saying they needed to conspire to “stop this” (Trump). Shortly after that Carroll changed the whole theme of the book she was writing. It was going to be a light-hearted book about her traveling but instead it was changed to be about bad men and included the claim about Trump. Both “outcry witnesses” were to be allowed to read the manuscript before publishing.
They claimed they were just doing “political venting”, but none of them did anything with candidates, policy, fundraising, or anything else political. Nothing like that was apparently meant in their “conspiring”. They never gave an explanation for why they withheld those emails; legal reasoning is established, that when critical information is withheld it is most likely in order to hide something damaging. Yet the judge did nothing to punish these violations of discovery rules, and he said nothing to the jury about how these things - criminal things in the case of the perjury - would routinely impeach the credibility of the witnesses.
In the end the jury (where over 85% of the jury pool voted for Biden over Trump) didn’t believe Carroll on the rape charge that Carroll claimed but latched onto her claim of digital penetration and decided to believe her on that - saying they believed he sexually assaulted her. And then the judge went on to claim that was the same thing as rape. (GGGGGGRRRRR. Tar & feathers are too good for that man!)
It is WAY past time for SOMEBODY to do what the judge refused to do.

I AM CERTAIN THAT TRUMP HAS/HAD AN APPOINTMENT BOOK THAT SHOWED WHERE HE WAS ALMOST EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY—FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

E. Jean Carroll accused several men of sexual assault including a babysitter’s boyfriend. a dentist, a camp counselor, a college day, a boss, and Les Moonves from CBS – and, of course, Donald Trump.
Here’s what is known about E. Jean Carroll, that was reported on The Gateway Pundit. Most of these facts were deemed “inadmissible” by the judge per John LeFevre:
•She couldn’t recall the date, month, season, or year the incident happened.
•She never told anyone about it, despite being publicly obsessed with her own sexuality.
•The dress she claims to have been wearing didn’t exist at the time.
•Her description of the dressing room at Bergdorf Goodman was inaccurate, making her sequence of events impossible.
•Her lawsuit was bankrolled by Jeffrey Epstein pal and Democrat (and Nikki Haley) mega-donor Reid Hoffman.
•Democrats created a law (The Adult Survivors Act in 2022) to enable her lawsuit to proceed.
•Her accusation is the exact plotline of an episode of Law & Order (one of her “favorite shows”).
•Trump’s Apprentice was also one of her favorite shows.
•She has a history of falsely accusing men of rape, including Les Moonves.
•She told Anderson Cooper, “most people think of rape as being sexy. Think of the fantasies.”
•She made a career promoting promiscuity, even writing glowingly of sexual assault and naming her cat Vagina.
Carroll’s interviews on TV, social media posts, and inconsistent information concerning her allegations should have been enough to throw out any case, but not with Judge Kaplan.
There is no way that this case should have been brought to court. Trump was not even told what month or year the ridiculous story actually took place.
