“Former Attorney General Pam Bondi has quietly undergone treatment for thyroid cancer. She was one of the first key members of the Trump administration to depart, having been let go in April. Bondi has been replaced on an interim basis by Todd Blanche. Axios reported the diagnosis having occurred shortly after she left the Department of Justice, citing an anonymous source. Katie Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, wrote Tuesday night that Bondi is doing well.”

Sorry to hear that. I’ve always heard a high level of sustained stress can make cancer worse. I know of an example where that does seem to have happened. I also hear Ms Bondi will still be working for the Administration in some capacity along with Zuckerberg of Facebook.
My sister had this. They removed it and put her on synthroid. No problems since.

I know a lot of folks on here hated her but I’ve always been a supporter even when I occasionally disagreed. Praying for her recovery. Cancer is no joke.
I had half my thyroid, and a large tumor (3 x 2 x 2 inches) removed two years ago. Before the surgery, I was a mess, with my body reacting negatively in dozens of puzzling ways. The Docs told me my thyroid numbers were “in the normal range”, but I felt like I was dying. Weight dropped 30 pounds in a short timeframe, and I couldn’t stop the drop. My thyroid surgery fixed everything is spite of ALL my doctors saying it would not (they thought my problems were in my head). I take a small dose of levothyroxine daily now and my health has been restored. Pam Bondi’s thyroid issues COULD have had a major impact on her ability to do her job effectively. In my experience that was exactly the case. I was forced to give some of my work to a nephew to finish ... I couldn’t do it.
