Democrats still searching for a way out of the rubble of the 2024 election got a peek in Tuesday’s primaries of what their voters want for the future.
The races spanned a mix of competitive and safe-blue seats across six states — including a pair of crucial swing states. The result: A slate of disparate candidates who won’t give them a much clearer sense of their future.
State Rep. Chris Rabb, a progressive firebrand and self-styled “rabble-rouser,” won the open primary for the bluest House district in the country in Philadelphia. In a nearby Pennsylvania House battleground, Democrats nominated Bob Brooks, a blue-collar everyman backed by Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro who leads a firefighters union and drives a snowplow on the side. And in Georgia, Democrats threw their support resoundingly behind a well-known quantity in former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, knocking out a deep slate of opponents with a majority of the vote.

If you look in the dictionary under “gerrymandering”, they show you a map of Fulton County GA.
Corrupt, dishonest, and socialist.
Cheating, robbing and fraud will make them “winners” again

Former mayor of Atlanta and an absolute failure. Crime increased under her tenure.

Plus, refused to work with ICE in any capacity, any criminal with an ICE detainer was immediately released. she forced the mask mandates even after Kemp opened the state. And caused all the ATL police to go on strike when she ordered the prosecution of a cop just for doing his job.
There almost needs to be a descriptor beyond “absolute failure” to describe her.
I thought the bluest House district was the one representing DC.

They wear whatever mask they think will get them elected, then they all follow the communist orders.
Gerrymandering had nothing to do with the Atlanta mayoral primary. The City of Atlanta is the shape is it, and it’s not particularly misshapen.
Keisha is a complete loser, however, who cannot be allowed to win the governor’s seat. She watched the city burn during the 2020 Summer of Love and was almost completely ineffective. The campaign ads should write themselves.
“Keisha Lance Bottoms” is an unfortunate name.
If it weren’t for the Nineteenth Amendment, we wouldn’t have progressives/communists in office. The females of the species desire a strong authoritarian father figure. They fulfill that desire by voting for Democrats.

I don’t think so. They vote for demorats because they hate men demonstrably stronger than their own fathers. Someone has to protect us from the toxic GOP.
It’s the activists — the truly loony ones — that are running for office on the Democrat side. That point has to be driven home by everyone running against them.
Gimmedat not working for them anymore?
