As the Democrats move further to the left and many voters are feeling the ill effects of a faltering economy etc., there may be an opportunity for an outsider to run- either to earnestly seek the presidency or to play spoiler.
Time will tell.

I am against the whole “lame duck” thing. People lose elections when voters are tired of their BS. Why then allow for continued months of the same BS? Elections have consequences, right? Install the newly elected persons the day after Election Day. Why not? Someone please explain the benefit of a lame duck session. I think it is mainly to give the people currently in power enough time to cover up their shenanigans.

It was a joke. Massie was referring to the amount of money ( allegedly over $15.5 million dollars) Gallrein received from pro-Israel PACs. By contrast, Massie received no money from AIPAC etc.
