Georgia Democrats are worried their front-runner will fumble a “once in a generation” chance to win the governor’s mansion this year.
Keisha Lance Bottoms has what should be an enviable résumé: former judge, city council member, mayor of Atlanta and senior White House adviser. She’s dominating public polling in the primary, bolstered by high name recognition in the Atlanta metro area.
But a third of the Democratic electorate remains undecided, and her most high-profile endorsement is from former President Joe Biden, who left office deeply unpopular among Americans.

Another incompetent grifting DEI whymins.
More well spoken than others, but it’s the same schtick.
She’ll get the urban black vote and the suburban liberal box-chardonnay women, and of course the AWFULs.
AKA inside the ATL 285 loop is her win. The rest of the state? Not so much.
We’ll have an honest vote this year. GA is redder than 2024 seemed to show.
Correct. It would be controversial but her opponent could say could say that DEI has been very cruel to black women who rise to positions of prominence and fail miserably due to incompetence. Top of the list would be corrupt pig faced Stacey Abrams, Kamala, KBJ, Crockett and on and on down the list of abject failures.
Anybody can run for governor of a state. Race has nothing to do with it.
And all the Black women hired in droves in 2020-2022 are being laid off now.
Not positions that would make me want to vote for her. Of course, technically, a judge is not partisan, but in reality, many, many many are very partisan.
Can she sell communism to Georgia? I don’t live there but common sense says NO. Oh she won’t try to sell communism and try being a spangerburger moderate? really? ha ha ha.
Oh and the Democrats won’t be disheartened by the scandals and cheating in Fulton County? Really?
And Fractal will stop about 90% of cheating. - yes 90%.
Now how does she look now?
