Arcadia mayor's bust demonstrates China's web of influence is all over California: How many more of them are there out there?

Like Fang Fang, the Chinese spy who had former Rep. Eric Swalwell under her thumb, Arcadia's Democrat mayor, Eileen Wang was quite the social butterfly. She got around. She was an active member of the Arcadia Rotary Club, the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce, the Arcadia Lions Club, the Arcadia Association of Realtors and the Arcadia High School Chinese Parents Booster Club in addition to organizing the “U.S. Heroes Music and Art Festival” which sounds like a pretty busy calendar.

And with all this socializing, she won a seat on the Arcadia city council in 2022, which in its rotating system, allowed her to become mayor, and upon entry, got her hailed in the press as a historic first, the first Asian-American city councilwoman and mayor for Arcadia.

Now, she's another historic first: The first naturalized Chinese-American mayor arrested by the FBI for working as a unregistered foreign agent for communist China, doing whatever her handlers told her to do, which in this case was posting red Chinese propaganda on her phony 'news' site, and running interference for Beijing while enjoying all the benefits of American citizenship. In other words, a traitor.

The first question it raises is whether she was a sleeper agent all along, or just another stupid woman-in-love, whose boyfriend, Mike Sun, now in jail for acting as an agent of China in an earlier bust, got her to do China's bidding for him, pleasing his Beijing masters in yet another way, whether it was through organizing phony protests, harassing Falun Gong, lawfaring Shen Yun, or running phony news claiming that China wouldn't dream of running slave labor camps, invading Taiwan, or repressing Hong Kong democracy campaigners.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

There's an interesting case out there where a woman named Michelle Wu sued Wang for falsely accusing her of misappropriating money from one of her organizations. I would like to know more of what that was about, whether it was China directing Wang to make the purportedly false charges to discredit Wu who may have been vocally pro-Taiwan, or there really was stealing going on. I have not been able to find out thus far, but it might tell an interesting story.

Based on the Chicom handlers' early questions about vetting her upon her election, seeking background information about her from Sun for their dossiers, which were seen on WhatsApp messaging by federal agents, it seems she was probably the latter.

This is nothing. We have literally millions of Indians running every conceivable computer system here in the USA. Over 1000 are working for the Baltimore City School System alone. There are thousands of examples of this. Look it up.

Why not just say “all” and be surprised if that is incorrect.

Yeah, but how many times have you heard “conservatives” say, “Orientals are the smartest people in America and on the planet. Probably in the entire universe.” Sorry but I don’t believe Yoda is Chinese.

That’s how the infiltration game works. Start in municipalities that are small and have less interest in proceedural vetting and work up a connection. She wasn’t the only caught in this sting either there was a group of co-conspirators.

(May 2026) Eileen Wang, the mayor of Arcadia, California, agreed to plead guilty to acting as an unregistered agent for the Chinese government.China’s Role: Federal prosecutors alleged she acted under the “direction and control” of Chinese officials, engaging in propaganda efforts.

She was accused of promoting pro-Beijing messaging and sharing information, which prosecutors described as part of a foreign influence campaign. This appears to be a case of the DOJ alleging Wang served Chinese interests within the US, rather than a scenario of her making false charges to discredit a pro-Taiwan official.

Former DPP Staffer & Aide to Joseph Wu (Taiwan) (2025-2026)The Case: A former staffer of Taiwan’s ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) was charged with spying for China, with allegations that they collected information on former Foreign Minister Joseph Wu, a prominent pro-Taiwan figure.

China’s Role: Prosecutors accused the individual of leaking information to China. The investigation found that individuals involved (including a former assistant to Wu) were accused of passing on sensitive details to Beijing, which fits the pattern of China attempting to undermine or gain leverage over pro-Taiwan officials.

In this case, the individual was accused of actual espionage (collecting information), rather than fabricating false charges.3. FBI Warns of Chinese “Fake Stories” (Dec 2024)

The FBI warned U.S. lawmakers that China was actively working to concoct fake stories, such as false “bribery” allegations, against US politicians who are strongly pro-Taiwan. The goal was specifically to discredit them.

Zhao Wang (Multi-national Fraud) (Jan 2026)The Case: Zhao Wang pleaded guilty to a $27 million fraud and money laundering scheme, involving transferring cryptocurrency to “foreign-based counterparts”. This is a financial crime case rather than a political intel-discrediting scenario.

Chin’s aim to discredit a pro-Taiwan “Wu” most closely aligns with the 2025 investigation into DPP staffers and assistants, where Chinese intelligence allegedly targeted associates of Taiwan’s former foreign minister, Joseph Wu.
