Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) joked that he is not the “popular guy” when asked about his relationship with his Democratic colleagues in Congress.
Fetterman described his relationship with Democrats on Capitol Hill as “cordial,” as the Pennsylvania senator continues to face backlash over his voting record that has included breaking from the majority of Democrats on the Iran war and ending government shutdowns.
“Well, [it’s] cordial,” Fetterman said on Fox News, after pausing to laugh at the question initially. “I’m not necessarily the popular guy, which is strange to me because I’m a Democrat and I’m the guy who flipped a seat.”
Despite growing criticism and calls to replace him with a Democrat who falls more in line with the party, Fetterman continues to defend his voting record.
Both Democrats and Republicans have said Fetterman should switch his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican. But Fetterman continues to push back on this, fiercely defending himself as a Democrat in his recent appearance on Fox News.

Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
My husband (from PA) has said that he doesn’t believe Fetterman could jump the aisle and continue politically.
But I bet he could, or at least have a strong following if he declared as Independent.
Between the East and the West of the state, Pennsylvanians are largely normal people and are among so many other Americans desperate for a return to common sense.
Fedderman has more cojones than the sum of DemocRAT “kinda male’ congress-critters.
Fetterman still has 90%+ of his issues leaning waaay to the left.
No Republican should vote for him over a Republican!!!

What if he became the Republican?
Very good.
Fetterman better be careful before his party try’s to Trump him?.
