John Maynard Keynes, who had large gains and losses speculating on the stock market, realized that the economics of an asset don’t determine its price, but the traders’ views of the economics of the assets do.

People need to stop the bitchin’. Biden brought in 20 million new gasoline consumers that caused the price of gas to go skyrocket. Supply and Demand. Nobody ever cried about the price of gas when Biden was farting around the White House.

That is why the Secretary said “LIKELY”. Get over it.

Forget this topic.

I’m tired of “LIKELY” with PDJT. The are NO ACTIONABLE ITEMS on small victories that take months to achieve. We are running out of time.

The 9th Century pig fornicators in Tehran are trying to wait out DJT...v=counting on his losing Congress in November and thus throwing in the towel to defend himself against 27 different impeachments.

You must have been still hibernating from COVID. Biden was definitely criticized for gas prices everyday. People even put stickers on gas pumps everywhere blaming him.

---- "Still cheaper than when that idiot bidrn was masquerading as POTUS so I'm fine with it."

Correct. Here's a hotlinked source:

Monthly U.S. Gasoline Prices | Historical Chart | Data | 1990-2026 Macrotrends, highest in the chart was May 2022 -- Biden-Harris administration -- at $4.41.

Yesterday, filled up at Costco for $3.579.

If you're in California, please add a dollar for Newsom, another dollar for Pelosi and some additional loose change for Lurie and Bass. And don't blame President Trump for the Democrats.....

Does anyone know what Biden is doing now? Is he out of the news?

It should go up before it goes down-right? Voters need to experience what makes the price go down only after feeling the pinch of them going up-teachable moment. EV’s left on the sales lot will visualize what doesn’t work. Their memories being short need to be synced with November elections. Got it?

Oddly enough my area gasoline 87 octane went down 25cents over the last couple of months.

You are most welcome. So much in today's media -- I almost typed "mews" but this article is not news -- is MESSAGING and purposefully snips off information to tailor an expected conclusion from a reader. The article cleverly proposes "2026 high" when that number from the Biden-Harris administration is the actual, historical high.

“We are not as bad as the last guy” is not a great election slogan.

I’m not worried about the gas prices I’m worried about the optics and stupid people that will either not vote for Republicans or the left getting their idiots out to vote. We could lose the house, senate and a bunch of states. I do not want to be ruled by these nuts….

High gas prices plus building a fancy White House ballroom—the optics cannot be worse going into a midterm election.
