“The sheriff leading the investigation into the unsolved disappearance of Nancy Guthrie has a checkered past in law enforcement, including allegedly beating a handcuffed suspect and threatening witnesses, records allege. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, 70, was suspended eight times when he worked for the El Paso Police Department in Texas early in his career, reports Arizona Republic. The outlet obtained records from Nanos' past through a public records request, which detailed a litany of alleged violations from Nanos when he was a young police officer.”

Uninformed voters; my bugaboo!
Something didn’t seem right about that guy from the get-go.
Three possibilities, he is either stone stupidity, he is involved in the kidnapping or is covering for the perp. Which I still think the son-in-law is involved.
His raging Short-man’s Syndrome was apparent from the first day. He’s an attention whore.
I think he was definitely involved from the get go…..including involved in the ransom AND he knows exactly who did it.
No wonder it hasn’t been solved......?
My brother is good friends with Mark Napier, the former Pima County sheriff. The deputies under his command really respected him. Nanos is despised by the rank and file of the sheriff’s department.
I lived in Tucson for 10 years and I can tell you that it is a crooked, leftist-run pest hole. Tucson is one of America’s oldest cities, 300 years old, and its politics are as crooked as it gets in America.
If true he belongs in jail. If not true the Daily Mail needs to be sued. Neither of the above two have any bearing on the Guthrie case.
So he supposedly sent DNA samples to FL in Feb., that lab cannot do kind of work (DNA extraction from rootless hair), so FL lab sent it to FBI lab (no word yet on results). I feel very bad for the Guthrie family...
This was probably a kidnap and ransom that went wrong. Mrs. Guthrie was old and frail with multiple health problems. I would suspect she died do to the kidnapping and stress of such. It is of no logic for the kidnappers to prolong this if she were alive. She is not. She is someplace in the desert and dead and buried.
Oddly she is a victim of her daughter’s success on television. She is rich and obviously can afford a great ransom demand as can many other rich people. She has my great sympathy as do the rest of her family.
There is a one million dollar reward for her. I find it odd that a criminal not associated with this crime has not stepped forward with info to claim the reward. These dudes talk to each other before the crime. It gets on the network.
This has not happened, thus I suspect a tightly nit group of a very small Mexican gang is behind this. It could be just a very few. They could be from Mexico or the USA but I suspect the USA.
Where’s Waldo?
It was solved last week. Her body was found.
CAUSED DELAY OF 11 WEEKS.
HOW MUCH DEGRADATION HAPPENED IN THAT TIME?
Absolutely. I remember during his first press conference, I told my wife he had a room-temperature IQ.
Arizona is a corrupt shiite hole. Thank McCain.

No, Nancy Guthrie’s body has not been found. She remains missing as of now, and authorities have confirmed that other bodies discovered are not connected to her case.
“I suspect a tightly knit group of a very small Mexican gang is behind this…”
So do I and I think the sheriff knows who they are.
