These have been his consistent positions for years. He’s Orban without the corruption and fealty to Putin. He only left Fidesz after the pedo pardon scandal.

If he sticks to his guns, how long before the sexual assault claims surface, or if that doesn’t work over there, the assassination attempts.
The EU thought they were getting a puppet. Sounds like they failed.

Since 2010, Hungarian state TV has been an arm of Orban's Fidesz party the way our public television is a wing of the Democrat party. They treated Magyar the way our NPR treated Trump, all negative. Unfortunately, most private networks are also all friends of Fidesz. Orban established an equivalent of our FCC and an Office of the Media Authority back in 2010 to control them. Maybe Magyar can clean house there next.

It was only by the grace of God that Orban is still alive.

The rubber meets the road only after this guy's been in power for at least a year. Then we'll see if he's for real. Sure hope he is. If so, Orban's loss will have been no loss at all and the EU filth and international, globalist left will have received one giant, well-deserved kick to the teeth.
He may say he is against it but he will still pass it.

As I’ve said before:
Magyar just won a two-thirds supermajority by peeling off the Fidesz base—rural, conservative, and nationalist voters. If he ‘speedruns’ a progressive agenda, his coalition vanishes by the next polling cycle. He isn’t a fool; he knows he was hired to be a clean nationalist, not a Brussels bureaucrat.
He will be supported by Poland in this, but he IS giving the EU a carrot of joining the EPPO - an anti-corruption body, which is what he wants in any case.
lee martell —> this rejection of the Migration pact was in Tisza’s party manifesto. It was what he consistently said he would do.
Not bad...so far.
