A Florida 16-year-old is being charged as an adult in the sexual abuse and murder of his stepsister on a Carnival cruise ship last year, authorities said Monday.
The teen, T.H., of Titusville, is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated sexual abuse in the killing of Anna Kepner, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida said.
Kepner, 18, was found dead, asphyxiated, on Nov. 7 under the bed in a cabin the siblings shared on the Carnival Horizon cruise ship while on vacation with Kepner’s family, records showed.

Whichever parent decided to tell a 19 y/o boy and his 17 y/o stepsister to share a small room in a vacation lodge has to be thinking “That was the biggest mistake of my life!”

The “horny stepsister porn” murder. Porn deadens the part of your brain that tells you something is too stupid to even try.
Probably saves money if they share a cabin.
The ages may be off. And they may have been on a boat vs in a hotel. What’s # 3? I’m here to learn.
Anyone that takes a son and step-daughter (or the reverse) on a cruise at that age, in these times & puts them in a private cabin together, is dumber than sheep s*it.

That was incredibly stupid.
That boy was horny and plotting.
She was not biologically related to him.
They let an unsupervised, possibly/probably drunk 16 year old boy share a cabin with a smoking hot, possibly/probably drunk 18 year old girl to whom he was not related, on a cruise.
Very poor judgement all around, most likely reasoned simply to save the price of another cabin. Here’s hoping they’ve learned their lesson the very hard way.
I wonder if the parents are still together. If memory serves, they hadn’t been married all that long when this happened.
My gut feeling is that he may have been plotting to try some hanky-panky that night. In his probably drunken fantasy, she was putty in his hands and gave herself to him willingly. It didn’t work out that way, he realized he went too far, she threatened to tell everyone, he went even farther, and then they found her under the bed.
the parents allowed the 2 teens to bunk together. Not a smart move.
There are so many things wrong here,

My mother had so many husbands I lost
track of them.
All the kids I grew up with were step
or half brothers and sisters.
I did get a religious education
I spent some time with my Grandma
when Mom was divorcing whomever.
My Grandma just wanted me out of
the house so Sunday school worked
for her on weekends. Drop the
kid off and get
some time to do whatever.
She was a multiple divorcee also.
Despite my parents inability
to be perfect examples of how to live,
I learned right and wrong at a
very early age.
Sunday school is very powerful.
There is NO way in hell, I’d hurt a
