FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The former partner of Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis died by suicide on Thursday, one day after making a court appearance.
Daniel Curran was found dead at a building at Northeast 36th Street and North Ocean Boulevard on his 35th birthday.
His death comes after a domestic violence case against Curran where Trantalis, 72, cited previous incidents of threats and violence.

It is delusional to believe that homosexuals are not perenially tormented people.
What’s there to know? The powerful guy was 70, the young fella was 35. If you’re 70 you gotta watch out for motives.

In college, I held the silly liberal view of "you love who you love, and what they do doesn't affect me."
Then I got to know some homosexuals, saw their lives, and heard their stories. It is truly a mental illness, which when put into action via urges towards sexual perversity, has consequences ranging from debilitating but manageable, to completely psychotic and destructive. But they indeed are all tormented.

My opinion: it takes some effort to win a woman’s heart. Many just don’t want to make the effort and convince themselves they’re gay.
There’s a lot of course, that going around. The clown former mayor of Tallahassee, FL ran (demonrat naturally) vs. Ron Desantis who won the election, thankfully. Andrew Gillum, black queer trying to fool his wife, ends up near dead in a hotel room with (sex toys, condoms, bodily fluids, etc) naked, and a male model “friend”. The fallout from all that was enhanced also fortunately by the N. Miami (iirc) police who published scene photos on the internet.
And this dude still thought he had a demonrat future- maybe he does, after all he consulted with Obamaumao!— on politics not replacing Reggie Love his “body man”, with his now dead chef-(moochelle might have something to say on that).
The mental status of these raving individuals (raving way beyond mere narcissism, all the way to bipolar at a minimum) assessed by uncompromised professionals is... that they are frankly crazy, and in need of years of therapy. Gillum has faded at least from media- maybe he’s part of a floor show at some “rough trade” show bar.
The political influence such as it is- is quite mysterious. This is still a minority of population of any race,creed or color.
That was always the rumors for the homos. The old queen would get his boy toy and the boy toy got his sugar daddy while he was free to go out clubbing with all the other homos and help spread AIDS and all other fun STDs.
Suicide? Really? Hm...Maybe.
It is a minority, but gets amplified by the enemedia in a big way such that many think it much bigger than it is.
