Hey, I’m as happy as everyone else, but I can’t help but notice those missiles raining down on Israel.
Well, it’s another glorious day, or something. President Donald Trump’s threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran have apparently worked, a “ceasefire” has been concluded, and as he did when he forced Israel to stop fighting Hamas when it had a chance to destroy the jihad terror group once and for all, Trump is once again hailing the dawn of peace in the Middle East:
A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they’ve had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else! The United States of America will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz. There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process. We’ll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just “hangin’ around” in order to make sure that everything goes well. I feel confident that it will. Just like we are experiencing in the U.S., this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP
The Islamic Republic of Iran was likewise in a celebratory mood, and in its joyful exuberance, fired off a round or two of celebratory missiles and drones into Israel and the Sunni states that it has targeted since the beginning of this conflict. Fox News’ Trey Yingst reported that on “Ceasefire day 1,” Israel “took multiple waves of Iranian missile fire after the ceasefire was announced. Kuwait reports that more than two dozens drones were launched by Iran since 8am. UAE is currently under an Iranian missile attack. Iran, via state media, reports strikes against Lavan Island and the oil infrastructure there.”

These demands, however, are hollow. Without military action, which Trump will become progressively less likely to resort to as the midterms approach, the U.S. has no leverage.
If the Islamic Republic of Iran remains in power, it will build up its strength again and then resume its jihad against Israel and the U.S. That’s one of the only two reasons truces are allowed in Islamic law: one is if the Infidel enemy converts to Islam, which is not in play here, and the other is if the enemy is winning, so as to give the warriors of jihad time to regroup and then fight again more effectively.
The Trump administration, like so many others before it, should have studied Islam and realized that the Islamic Republic is serious about Islam above all. Then it would have known that when the Islamic Republic’s leaders showed a willingness to conclude a ceasefire, they were tacitly admitting that they were losing. It was time to press forward to final victory, not to stop fighting. And so another opportunity to rid the world of a jihad threat is lost, another chimera of peace is announced, and the jihadis will rejoice that they have survived to fight another day, as yet another Western government has kicked the can down the road instead of defeating them.

You don’t get rid of a terrorist group. There aren’t enough people in the world to do that. Hamas has been around since 1987 and came our of the muslim brotherhood. They are scattered all over the world to include in the Americas.
There are several offshoots of terrorist groups and Hamas is no different. Factually, recognizing group is a real task.

Fighting terrorists is putting out small fires that keep flaming up...and grow. So while the people may go under ground, their message and possible restart is always out there. Maybe in the same name or a new one, or out of one already in existence joining for power and resourses.

And the US just has to the end of the month when the 60 days are up before Congress has to approve further action.
It probably would’ve been better spending all that time knocking them down. Cut their oil revenue and blow the grid.
But you can get rid of a state sponsor of terrorist groups by actually defeating them like we defeated the Nazis.
Without sovereign funding, terrorist groups diminish a couple orders of magnitude.

Exactly.
I believe what is being missed here is the approach Trump is taking where Israel is concerned.
All the Iranian bluster about Israel not taking action since the US made a deal with Iran - Since his inauguration (and I believe the Abraham Accords were the beginning) he has been addressing Israel as a sovereign nation with their own ‘MAGA’ - Make Israel Great!
He is forcing the issue that Israel makes their own deals in their own interests. Working deals together (trade) is the foundation for peace. If Iran (or any other nation) wants something from Israel they need to talk to Israel. I VERY difficult thing for the Islam-centric nations to do.
I see Trump allowing Israel to decide their own fate and engage in what helps Israel; just as he does to help America First.
He announced this regarding arms deals with Israel; they have to pay their way. In this Israel either makes deals or creates their own and the USA will not be a middle man for the world to get Israel to bow down to US pressure in any type of appeasement (if Israel doesn’t want to).
Ultimately, this separates our foreign policy initiatives in the long run. I also believes sets up Biblical end times prophecy fulfillment that all nations will be against Israel. Israel free from the diplomatic shackles of the US (whomever is running the administration) will become more a point of contention in US politics. Ultimately, a majority of people (on both sides of the aisle) wanting to abandon Israel support. It is written. Trump’s actions are setting the stage for this, IMHO.

The damage done to leaders and to infrastructure may have been enough so that the normal winds and strains of a nation will cause it to fall.
What we have done may be enough for change and it may be wise to wait and see.

Robert Spencer won't be happy until every mooselimb in the world is dead, and I don't disagree with his wishes, but it's not our mission to make Israel happy.
President Trump wants to keep iran from getting a nuke and open the straits.
You cannot kill 93 million to make Spencer happy.
Spencer wants the holocaust in reverse, and while I agree with his sentiments, it would require the elimination of over a billion people, and I don't think that will happen.

I would be remiss if I didn't include a detail about a dream I had on either the 26th or 27th of September, 2016, because it relates to standing watches and now all of a sudden it makes a whole lot of sense:

Then the conversation was interrupted when a young blonde woman with a clipboard needed to talk to me about scheduling me for a watch. She led me a short distance away to other side of the corridor, along the opposite wall.
Weird because I wasn't in the Navy, and when she wanted to schedule me [for the last watch of the night], I had a big final exam already set for that morning.
She said it's no problem, you can go straight from the watch to your exam. You'll be fine..
At the top of her clipboard scheduling sheet was an empty rectangle (~ 1" x 3" like a mailing label size). She asked me how I would like her to sign her name there (this copy was for me). "C Katy." Me: That's fine, just how it sounds.
After the dream I thought I should see what's in Katy TX. Never been there.

We didn’t defeat the Nazis. We got rid of the immediate problem and they surfaced in the form of terrorist groups down the road. Here are some the latest ones:
Atomwaffen Division (AWD) / National Socialist Resistance Front: Founded in 2015, this international group promotes “esoteric Nazism” and accelerationism, advocating for violence to cause societal collapse.
The Base: A white supremacist accelerationist network formed in 2018 that focuses on paramilitary training, with cells in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Combat 18 (C18): A UK-founded group active since 1992, linked to numerous murders of immigrants and political opponents.
Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM): A pan-Nordic movement with parliamentary wings, known for paramilitary activity and designated as terrorists by some, with US State Department sanctions applied in 2024.
National Socialist Club (NSC-131): Based in the Northeastern US, this group focuses on intimidation tactics, anti-immigrant, and anti-LGBTQ+ demonstrations.
Blood Tribe: A growing group formed in 2021 that promotes a white ethnostate through the removal of Jews and non-white minorities.
And they have been popping up for years:
Sturmabteilung (SA/Brownshirts): Founded in 1921, they acted as a violent force, beating opponents in the streets and breaking up meetings of rival parties.
Schutzstaffel (SS): Originally formed in 1925 as a small, personal bodyguard unit for Hitler, later becoming a massive terror organization.
Hilfspolizei (Auxiliary Police): After 1933, the Nazis formalized their terrorism by recruiting SA and SS members into the police force, giving them legal authority to terrorize opponents.
National Socialist Liberation Front: Founded in the mid-1970s, it was a prominent underground, cell-structured neo-Nazi group.
The Order: A prominent US-based white supremacist organization established in 1983.
This isn’t near all of them. This is why we have so many terrorist groups in the world today. They are all tied into the destruction of society. The snake head always regrows.

If you recheck my post, you’ll see that I had them back as far as the fore runner of nazism in 1921. If I was to look for and post all the groups that have come into existence from the one I displayed in 1921, you’d still be reading them. I gave you the latest ones, a couple of the mid ones, and the early ones. But let’s assume that they are still popping up even after the defeat the Hitler in Germany in the 1940’s.
Modern neo-Nazi terrorist groups generally maintain the core principles of historical National Socialism—racism, anti-Semitism, white supremacy, and authoritarianism—but have updated their tactics to include decentralized, leaderless resistance, and “accelerationism” to destroy modern society. While original Nazi ideology focused on a state-controlled military, today’s movements often use online radicalization, trans-national networks, and lone-actor violence.
