A 14 point lead with 87% reporting is a pretty safe bet.

No “glitches”? No burst water pipes? No dogs eating ballots?

I hope he is representing the people of his district and standing up for America first rather than replacing MTG.

She won in 2020, not as an incumbent with 74% of the vote. The 57% is not good in such a safe Republican seat. This is sort of the mountains, so heavily white and somewhat Republican in the early and mid 20th century. Lots of Democratic votes due to the war etc. Let us hope it gets better before the midterms.

Did the Democrats pump millions of dollars into the race to try to win the district in that election?

The district does not include Fulton County.

Now if we can just get MTG to shut her Quisling yap things can get back to normal.

She turned coat and quit... Why the hell does she think her opinion still matters more than anyone else’s?

Problem solved. The MTG era is over with none of the doom and gloom scenarios that many predicted, coming true.

Trump is alienating people, we were told. MTG is just the first crack in the coalition of many to come. Trump needs to be more tolerant of different opinions in thr caucus or his coalition will fall apart. With MTG out, we’re on the verge of losing the House majority, and all because of Trumps fragile ego. Etc. Etc. Etc.

So much for the predictions. The pearl clutchers will have to find something else to hyperventilate over now, I guess.

There are people on this forum disappointed by this result or were at least hoping it would be single digits to give the Democrats “momentum”
