Just two months into her term of office, Gov. Spanberger's approval polling is barely above water. Her win last year was supposed to be the victory of pragmatic moderation over the voices of the far left, but since then Virginia voters seem to have realized she's a left-wing partisan, not a moderate. Today the Washington Post has a story about this sudden turnaround.

She didn’t need to lie or misrepresent herself but she did. She would have received no fewer votes and had no less support from the media had she been honest about her left of left positions. The left will vote for whomever has a D after their name (Obama, Mamdani, Biden, Clintons).

Saw one or two of her campaign speeches and she appeared certifiably insane. Her opponent was an intelligent sensible retired military black woman.

I beg to differ. Virginians saw her for EXACTLY what she is. She *is* a moderate Democrat. Virginians just don’t seem to understand (as is the case with approximately half of Americans) that bona fide “moderate” Democrats *are* this Leftist.
This is the same supplicant media that is telling us up here in Maine that Graham Platner is just a good old boy oyster farmer, who just happens to address crowds of Democrats as “ comrades”
It just goes to show that the Democrats know that their people cannot get elected if they tell the truth about who they are and what they believe.

What you say is absolutely 100% true, but it should also be stated that Sears (for whom I voted), while being a wonderful person and I believe would have been a wonderful Governor, was an ABSOLUTELY LOUSY candidate. And the party didn’t back her, and...

Democrats use voter fraud in Va. It has nothing to do with the voters.
It’s both. You have to have close to half of the real vote going for the Democrats in order for voter fraud to get them over the limit - but Spanberger won by a LOT. So while I agree with you there was probably plenty of voter fraud, there was probably enough to get Spangerber elected (or close to it) without the fraud. So that’s still on those voters.
I know plenty of Virginians who did *not* vote for Spanberger, but instead just sat on their hands to, “send a message to Trump.” They are just as guilty. Frankly, I’m more angry with them.
The Republican voters who didn't show up to vote are equally at fault. Turnout was low enough overall that they could have won if they had showed up.
