The Hypocritical Outrage: Why the They Tears Over the Death Penalty for Islamist Terrorists Ring Hollow.
Let’s be brutally honest about what’s happening in Israel right now. After years of suicide bombings, rocket barrages, stabbings, car-rammings, and the barbaric slaughter of October 7—where Hamas and its allies murdered 1,200 people, raped, burned families alive, and took hostages as human trophies—Israel is finally entertaining the obvious: the death penalty for the worst of the worst. Convicted terrorists who deliberately set out to murder Jews, often filming their atrocities for social-media glory, should face the ultimate price. Not “life with three meals and a prayer rug,” but justice that fits the crime.
And what do we get? A tidal wave of performative outrage from the usual suspects—the UN Human Rights Council, European diplomats, Amnesty International, campus activists, and large chunks of the Western media. “Cruel!” they cry. “Disproportionate!” “A violation of international norms!” As if the real crime is Israel daring to execute the unrepentant murderers of its civilians, rather than the murders themselves.
This isn’t principled opposition to capital punishment. It’s selective, politically weaponized outrage—and it only surfaces when the killers are Islamist terrorists and the victims are Jews.
Fact,l: Israeli Jews have been targeted day and night, fot decades by Islamists seeking to just murder Jews. Most attempts are thwarted, not all, unfortunate, leading to thousands of victims.
Look at the numbers and the pattern. Islamist groups have turned the death of Jews into both strategy and sacrament. Hamas’s own charter, its leaders’ sermons, and the gleeful street celebrations after every massacre make it crystal clear: this is not “resistance” to occupation; it is a religious war against the very existence of a Jewish state in its ancestral homeland. They say it out loud. They teach it in schools. They reward the families of “martyrs” with pensions. Yet when Israel says enough—when it proposes that those who slaughter babies and grandparents forfeit their own lives—the world suddenly discovers its tender conscience.
Now flip the scenario the outrage merchants refuse to contemplate. Imagine an epidemic of non-Muslim killers—call them whatever you like: far-right extremists, nationalist militias, or garden-variety criminals—launching coordinated mass-murder campaigns against Muslim civilians across the globe. Synagogues replaced by mosques as targets. Schools and music festivals turned into slaughterhouses. Hostages paraded and executed on camera. An explicit ideology of conquest and extermination broadcast daily.
Would the same voices howl about the “inhumanity” of the death penalty? Would they lecture Muslim-majority countries or Western governments for executing such perpetrators? Of course not. We’d see emergency UN sessions demanding tougher measures, editorials praising “necessary deterrence,” and human-rights NGOs quietly nodding along. The same activists who now clutch pearls over Israeli justice would be first in line demanding blood for blood—provided the blood belonged to non-Muslims.
Why the double standard? Because the current narrative has decided that Islamist violence is “contextual,” “understandable,” even “legitimate” when aimed at Israel. Jewish victims are footnotes. Palestinian casualties—often caused by terrorists using their own people as shields—are front-page tragedies. The death penalty for a Hamas commander who personally slit throats? “Barbaric.” The same penalty for a non-Muslim who did the same to Muslims? “Justice served.”
Israel has no luxury for this moral theater. It faces enemies sworn to its annihilation, funded and armed by Iran, cheered by millions across the region who openly call for another Holocaust. Every time Israel shows restraint, the terrorists interpret it as weakness and strike again. Deterrence is not vengeance; it is survival. A society that refuses to execute those who murder its children in cold blood is a society that has already surrendered.
The false outrage isn’t really about the death penalty at all. It’s about who gets to defend themselves and who is expected to die quietly. When the killers are Islamist terrorists targeting Jews, the script demands Israel absorb the blows, offer concessions, and never, ever lower the boom. Anything else is “escalation.”
But reality doesn’t care about scripts. If an epidemic of non-Muslim mass murder ever materializes—and God forbid it does—the world’s tolerance for half-measures will evaporate overnight. The same commentators currently clutching their pearls will suddenly rediscover that some crimes are so monstrous they merit the ultimate sanction.
Until then, Israel should ignore the noise. Protect its people. Enforce real justice. And let the hypocrites scream into the void. The Jewish state didn’t survive 2,000 years of exile, pogroms, and genocide to apologize for refusing to be the world’s designated punching bag. Not now. Not ever.
Israel National News (INN) must be one of those secular progressive “news” outlets, like our MSNow...???
The United States has a death penalty both federally and in many states... Why the hell would they condemn another country enabling the death penalty?
Jokers!
It’s a conservative site, in fact.
Any terrorist in the world deserves the death penalty.
Why should they get free room and board via the taxpayers?
That goes for all terrorists, including MS 13, Tren de Aragua and Antifa.
Wish we could do it here even with the DP - that Texas shooter is still on DR ...
Only Palestinian terrorists can be executed, not a Jewish one.
It’s only for the untermenchen...
I would spit on our State Department if they criticized Israel for that.
For example, those October 7th beasts deserve to be put down with zero consideration.
Right. I have long said that terrorism must be treated the same as Piracy in the 18th and 19th Century. Tar their bodies and hang them in cages at prominent locations in the public.
“Only Palestinian terrorists can be executed”
That’s a lie.
Retract it.
Q: Is Israel’s new Death Penalty for Terrorist law specific as to the religion of the terrorist, or might a Christian Arab, or Buddhist Chinese be liable for the death penalty too?
Grok:
“No, Israel’s new “Death Penalty for Terrorists” law (officially the Penal Law (Amendment – Death Penalty for Terrorists), passed by the Knesset on March 30, 2026) is not specific to the religion of the terrorist. The text of the law makes no reference whatsoever to religion, ethnicity, or any faith-based criterion. It is framed entirely around the nature of the offense (intentionally causing death as part of an “act of terrorism”) and the defendant’s legal status under Israeli jurisdiction (citizenship/residency and which court system applies). ”
Death penalty in Israel? Never thought I’d see the day. They have been way too peaceful and have taken enough crap from those Pali ingrates for decades. Finally.
Very.
That’s a relief.
Good!
Exactly.
It’s long overdue, IMO.
If they can dish it out, they can take it.
Besides, don’t they all want to die for Allah?
Works for me.
Grok: “No, Israel’s new “Death Penalty for Terrorists” law
Instead try asking Grok "Who is subject to the new Israeli death penalty?"
Grok- "The new Israeli death penalty law, passed by the Knesset on March 30, 2026 (62-48 vote), primarily targets Palestinians convicted of deadly terrorist attacks, especially those in the occupied West Bank tried in Israeli military courts."
Why? Because Israeli settlers are not tried by military courts like Palestinians.
Israeli citizens and residents are explicitly excluded from this provision: military jurisdiction applies exclusively to Palestinians, while Israeli settlers are tried in civilian courts. The Israeli human rights group B'Tselem said in a statement that military trials of Palestinians have " an approximately 96% conviction rate, based largely on 'confessions' extracted under duress and torture during interrogations."

death penalties are necessary for murderers, terrorists, and traitors.
and maybe one or two more things.
Israel’s new law is DECADES overdue. But better late than never....it will help some...
“primarily targets”
Well, duh.
