The Bulls are cutting bait with Jaden Ivey, waiving the guard following comments on social media livestreams against the LGBTQ community and the Catholic church. The team announced he was waived “due to conduct detrimental to the team” in a statement.

Growing concerns about Ivey date back to last month and his comments on a livestream on his personal Instagram account on Monday about the LGBTQ community were the last straw for the Bulls, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Ivey has been posting several lengthy videos on his social media in recent weeks, with the topic of the NBA’s support for Pride Month becoming one on Monday.

For those of you who are too young, the Soviet Union would put dissidents who disagree with them in insane asylums. (Actually still happen today in Russia.)

By the way, the NBA kicked Enes Kanter Freedom out of the league for criticizing China’s treatment of Uyghurs.

Mental Health Concerns?

So sharing your Christian faith is now indicative of having a Mental Health Concern?

Indeed this is their “history repeating itself” moment.

Yup - communist propaganda. Note also this comes from the same people that will tell you that trans women are more women than women.

The title mentions "anti-religion rants." Now you are claiming that he was only "sharing" his Christian faith. Those two statements seem to be incompatible with each other.

This is also libel and should lead to the appropriate lawsuits

Right. Detrimental to the team. Sure.

If he would have beat up his wife or DUI'd or sold drugs, he would be on the rehabilitation train.

But because he committed an opinion crime against the popular political narrative, HE'S OUT.

"Bad" thoughts and "bad" speech is very, very, serious. Assault and criminality less so.

He also said Catholicism was a false religion. (But we all know that the Bulls and the NBA have no problem with that.)

His mother is the head coach of women's basketball at a formerly Catholic university.

I just lost a lot of respect for Billy Donovan for not having Ivey’s back.

The “anti-religion rant” had to do with Catholicism, not Christianity.

They put most in the Gulag System under brutal conditions in Siberia. These date back to the days of the Tsar, even Stalin spent time in one of the Gulags before the 1917 revolution.

The people who built the Trans-Siberian railway worked in conditions that went beyond brutal. They had to keep working even in the winter when Temps went down to 35 Degrees below Zero, they was no hygiene, you lived in tents, if you died your body was thrown into the snow and ice. Thousands of Russians died building that railway. That was the way of the Soviets, inslave their own people.
