Asked on CNN whether ICE agents would leave airports once TSA officers start getting paid, Homan said, “We’ll see.”
“It depends how many TSA agents come back to work, how many TSA agents have actually quit and have no plan of coming back to work. I’m working very closely with TSA administrator and the ICE director to decide what airport needs what,” he said.

It should seem to make more sense to them to just go back home to their actual country.

International travel. They show their passports and get pulled over. The passport gets stamped with a no return punchout.
They show up for their return flight and check-in is denoed. Let them argue in their home countries.

Every time you make an exception to the rule you weaken the rule. Now that ICE has been deployed once they can be deployed again or still. However the President wants to do it.

TSA is just security theater. When something happens they call the local police.
ICE are federal agents with both side and long arms.
As soon as the first payment is made, this will likely be the subject of a lawsuit and an injunction.
ICE should be at airports permanently.
