This has been in front of the Supreme Court before. I believe they ruled that the constitution clearly states “all people” and not “all citizens.”
I could be wrong. I don’t think he is going to win this one. I wish he could.

I imagine the reason for bringing it up now will drive a case that can settle it before the next census in 2030.
Judges Boasberg, Hellerstein, Kaplan, Schwartz, Breyer, Abelson etc. will be issuing a universal injunction in 3, 2, 1…

Census Takers just record the info they’re given. Will they be required to see “papers” for every person in a home?
Judging by the last two censuses, they’re not hiring the brightest and best.

One can’t go on vacation to America during the census taking, and expect to be counted. They will return home. If illegal alien doesn’t work, try vacationers.
What the administration can do legally
Direct the Census Bureau to improve data accuracy, run pilot programs, or test new citizenship-verification methods using existing records (e.g., voter rolls, immigration databases). This is what the post calls “new testing begins for citizenship verification.”
Propose legislation (such as the Equal Representation Act or similar bills) that would try to change how the count is used for apportionment—but those bills have repeatedly failed in Congress precisely because they conflict with the Constitution.
Plus of course step up deportations.
Census is a tough one to do from a standing start.
You need maps, dwellings verified and mapped, dwelling counts etc.
A lot would have changed from 2020, demolitions, new construction. Even a new basement suite is “new dwelling”.
Re-estimating the 2020 data excluding illegals or non-citizens would be a lot quicker. But then there would be the law suits...
We need to hold democrat’s dishonest feet to the fire... NO, they can not count illegals as citizens.
It is...assuming we win the next presidential election when this next census will be taken. Otherwise, the policy would just be reversed.

Trump will be gone 2 years before the next census. So this is meaningless.
Those here illegally are not residents; they are transients and should not be counted. Constitutionally they are no different in regard to the census than tourists. The only true residents are citizens and those with a legal residence visa.
AWESOME..without illegals the Dems would lose 25 house seats which is why they dont want the SAVE ACT passed, if it were to pass and it takes illegals off the voter rolls, its the same as being taken off the census as far as they are concerned, so 25 house seats gone, adios Dem party
