Republican House Oversight Committee members announced that the committee had launched an investigation into claims of hospice fraud in California.
“Despite clear red flags, it appears California leaders have enabled hospice providers to DEFRAUD hardworking American taxpayers,” Chairman James Comer wrote on X. “The House Oversight Committee is moving to protect taxpayer funds from waste, fraud, and abuse.”
The outrage started in January when Dr. Mehmet Oz, the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), said California owed over $1 billion in Medicaid funds improperly used for health care for illegal aliens.

CA might be bigger than other states. But the SWAMP is not limited to just one state, nor to just Blue states. Deloitte IES is in ME VT RI MA NY PA NJ VA FL GA TN KY IN MI IL AR LA TX NM CO WY MT ND OR CA.

It’s OK to start with MN and CA. But we must continue everywhere.
The real fraud is in the SWAMP and not just the immigrants. Deloitte is one of the most obvious and agregious in the SWAMP. Would it help to know that Deloitte is the single biggest abuser of H1b? Would it help to know that many involved in the HHS & Medicaid FRAUD are H1b? But make no mistake, it isn’t just the H1b at Deloitte.
Deloitte IES enrolls the poor, the dead and dups in Medicaid
CHPS, SNAP/EBT, WIC, TANF, Sec8, etc in 25 states... CA GA FL NY PA IL and many more. (not MN). Deloitte makes possible the fraud by many others.
